Happy (Race 1) is now a clear second favourite at $3.50 after firming a half point early. A first starter by Lonhro for the Allan Denham stable, the filly has trailed twice for a Beaumont win and a midfield effort at Gosford.

Chapilla (Race 4) has taken over at the head of the market at $3 after firming more than a point and a half. She has the highest last-start rating in this field after winning her maiden at Nowra when resuming and the punters are looking for her to prove too good again.

Keepa Coming (Race 6) is still at each way odds of $6.50 but has firmed in almost three points since markets opened. He resumes and although he has never won fresh he has placed and he has run top three in all three attempts on heavy going.

Valoxia (Race 8) is another good value hope at $7.50 having halved his quote after opening well into double figures. He doesn’t win out of turn but one of his wins came on a heavy track and the wet has convinced punters he is an each way hope today.
