Racing And Sports brings you the best daily bets from the Japanese NAR circuit.
There are three meetings across the NAR Circuits for Monday, with racing in Mizusawa, Kanazawa and Funabashi. Here are our best bets across the day.
MIZUZAWA Race 7 - #5 Medatsu Yatsu
The four-year-old colt is back from a spell of 12 weeks and has placed previously first up. Before the break, and after a string of second places, he finished off his campaign with a big 5 length win at this course over 1400m with plenty left in the tank. Finds a relatively weak race here and shapes as a top chance, again teaming up with Kazen Nango . He's got talent and should be winning here.
KANAZAZWA Race 3 - #4 Migi Hook
Migi Hook, the three-year-old daughter of Declaration Of War , got off the mark on debut at Kanazawa over 1400m with a very impressive 4 length win in October last year. Returns today from a lengthy spell with Masayoshi Aoyagi again onboard and she should be the one they all need to stop. The race experience should help and look for a big run from the filly here.
KANAZAWA RACE 11 - #8 A Shin Nuuspet
This four-year-old filly is rarely out of the placings at this track and trip. Came back from her last spell with a win here over 1400m and then finished that preparation with a two length win also. Has had a 3 month break and should be the main player fresh. Also threatening back from a spell will be the four-year-old filly #2 Saechi , who has previously placed first-up and finished off her last campaign with a nice win over 1500m here and has drawn well today, and four-year-old entire #4 Manon Rouge who also closed his last campaign with a win over 1500m at this track. Should be a very competitive race.
FUNABASHI Race 8 - #4 Princess Rosy
Four-year-old filly Princess Rosy is a consistent performer, who has run either first or second in every race except one since making the switch from the JRA circuit back to NAR. A trainer change at the end of last year doesn't seem to have made much of an impact and this race should be hers to win today. Her main opposition is #10 Green Dial , who has also been performing well in his last couple of runs. The colt comes off a 34-day let-up, retains the services of Norifumi Mikamoto and could be the main danger fresh. Should be a decent battle between the two and watch for a big finish from them both.
