RACE 2 (8) OVERLORD: This stylish Sebring son of the G1 winner Red Tracer represents good value in a strong race that should lay a good platform for winter 2YO form. Chris Waller gave him four well-spaced trials leading into his debut over 1100m on the Kensington track when he impressed with a surging finish into third (fastest last 200m) after covering ground behind Ocean Emperor. Winning form has already come out of that race and can only see improvement in him going to 1200m on the bigger main course as he meets Ocean Emperor 1.5kg better and gets Hugh Bowman on board for the first time.
RACE 6 (11) LOVESEAT: Savabeel mare has come back in super form this prep, making impressive improvement second up over 1550m at Canterbury when she produced sparkling sectionals from last to win running away. Gets nice weight relief with a drop of 3.5kg and with past wins over 2000m and 2400m she is sure to appreciate this extra trip on the bigger track.
RACE 8 (8) SNITZ: Went to a new level first-up after five months when he sat on the pace and booted clear for a strong win under 59kg in fast time over this course and distance on April 18. Rises from that BM88 company to a strong open class sprint but happy to gamble that he can find more improvement with the advantage of a 5kg drop in weight.
