In a major strategic change Gooree Park Stud will open their gates commercially for the first time in 30 years.

The Mr Eduardo M Cojuangco Jr-owned operation has primarily been a private racing and breeding operation and has produced the likes of Northern Meteor (Encosta De Lago), Your Song (Fasnet Rock), Hallowed Crown (Street Sense), Prized Icon (More Than Ready) and Needs Further (Encosta De Lago).

Services offered will include long-term and seasonal boarding, foaling, sales preparation, spelling and pre-training. Located just over three hours from Sydney and two hours from the Hunter Valley, Gooree Park Stud will walk out mares to all studs in NSW.

The spelling and pre-training facility includes state of the art training tracks - a 1800 metre sand track and 2100 metre grass track.

"It is as good as any private training facility in the country," says long term stud manager Andrew Baddock.
