Lindsay Park have decided not to progress to the Queensland Winter Carnival with high-class fillies Mimi's Award (Shamus Award) and Personal (Fastnet Rock), while the longer term plan with the daughter of Fastnet Rock (Danehill) is yet to be decided.

The VRC Oaks (Gr 1, 2500m) winner Personal was narrowly denied a second Group 1 win when she finished second behind Media Award (Shamus Award) in the Australasian Oaks (Gr 1, 2000m) on May 1, while she was last seen finishing seventh in the South Australian Derby (Gr 1, 2500m) the following week and a decision is expected soon from part-owners Coolmore as to whether the filly will race on next season or retire in Ireland.

Meanwhile, Mimi's Award was last seen winning the South Australia Fillies Classic (Gr 3, 2500m) on May 15 and holds a nomination for the Queensland Oaks (Gr 1, 2200m) on June 5, but co-trainer Tom Dabernig has confirmed that she has joined Personal in the spelling paddock and will therefore not take her place in the Group 1.

"Personal has begun her spell and we decided to give Mimi's Award a break as well," Dabernig told Racing.com.

"She's (Mimi's Award) done a great job to win three in a row. We just thought that Adelaide up to Queensland might be a bit too much for her as she's a lightly framed filly.

"I don't know how the form of that race in Adelaide will hold up, but I do think she'll be better as a four-year-old."
