2019 J J Atkins Plate (Gr 1, 1600m) winner Prince Fawaz (Fastnet Rock) will stand at Oaklands Stud for a fee of $11,000 (inc GST).

The Anthony Cummings-trained son of Fastnet Rock (Danehill) won twice in 13 career starts and placed in another two for prize money earnings of almost $600,000.

He was bought by his trainer for $220,000 at the 2018 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Baramul Stud and is out of the dual winning Testa Rossa (Perugino) mare Lady Paget who is a half-sister to Group One winning sire Casino Prince (Flying Spur).

"We are very excited and humbled to have the opportunity to partner with the owners to stand Prince Fawaz, a son of Fastnet Rock, at Oaklands Stud in Queensland,” said Oakland Stud’s principal Neville Stewart.

"He is an outstanding individual with an outstanding stallion’s pedigree.”

Prince Fawaz will stand alongside Power (Oasis Dream) and Exosphere (Lonhro) who is relocating to the farm for the 2021 season.
