Sweet Deal (Casino Prince), who was bought by Lustre Lodge for $850,000 at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale earlier this year, will return to the Randwick stables of John Thompson and be aimed at the $2 million The Invitation (1400m).

On Friday Racing NSW announced The Invitation which will be run under set weight and penalty conditions over 1400 metres at Randwick on October 23.

“The field for “The Invitation” will exclusively comprise 12 starters invited by a panel convened by Racing NSW,” the Racing NSW release read.

“Invitations will be extended to fillies and mares from across Australia and New Zealand.”

A multiple Group Three winner, Sweet Deal was last seen finishing third in the Tattersall’s Tiara (Gr 1, 1400m) at Eagle Farm in June.
