First winner for Sebring Sun

Glenthorne Park-based sire Sebring Sun (Sebring) was represented by his first winner on Thursday when his daughter Coriander (2 f ex Patient Way by Hemingway) broke her maiden at Mackay. 

Trained by Tom Smith, Coriander scored a half length victory over Thinkicangiddyupgo (Sidestep) in the TAB Long May We Play Maiden (1050m). 

The filly, who was bought for $15,000 by Burleigh Estates at the Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale from the draft of Burwood Stud, becomes the second winner for her dam Patient Way (Hemingway).
