Russian Emperor is one of two winners and the first Group One winner out of his multiple Group One winning dam Atlantic Jewel (Fastnet Rock). His Justify (Scat Daddy) half brother is catalogued as Lot 62 at the forthcoming Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

New stakes winners
Seven for Capitalist

Newgate Farm's Capitalist (Written Tycoon) notched up stakes winner number seven when the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained I'mlovin'ya (2 f ex Loveyamadly by Bel Esprit) won the Talindert Stakes (Listed, 1100m) at Flemington. I'mlovin'ya is from the second crop of Capitalist who was the leading first season sire in Australia last year by winners and is currently leading the second season sires table in Australia by earnings with his prize money totalling just over $3.7 million, over $2 million ahead of nearest rival Shalaa (Invincible Spirit).

Pinstriped (3 g ex Snitzel Blitz by Snitzel) remained undefeated in three career starts when taking out Saturday's CS Hayes Stakes (Gr 3, 1400m) at Flemington and in doing so became the 60th stakes winner for Darley's Street Boss (Street Cry). Starting favourite, Pinstriped, a $80,000 buy by trainer Enver Jusufovic and Gary Mudgway Bloodstock at the 2019 Magic Millions National Weanling Sale, beat Pascero (Pierro) by a half length. The winner is now likely to be aimed at the Australian Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m) back at Flemington on March 5.

Street Boss sired a stakes double on Saturday with his James Cummings-trained Group One winning son Anamoe winning the Hobartville Stakes (Gr 2, 1400m) at Rosehill. Street Boss has eight lots due to sell at next week's Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and he will stand at Darley's Kelvinside farm again in 2022.

Swettenham Stud shuttler Toronado (High Chaparral) sired his 22nd stakes winner on Saturday when the Lindsey Smith-trained Corner Pocket (5 g ex Baize by Commands) made it eight in a row and won the Elms Handicap (Listed, 1400m) at Flemington. Corner Pocket was bought by his trainer and Boomer Bloodstock for $175,000 at the 2018 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale when offered by Musk Creek and Collingrove Stud will offer his half-brother by Puissance De Lune (Shamardal) at next week's Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
