Magic Millions announced that they are fielding expressions of interest in the Annabel Neasham-trained Mo'unga (Savabeel) on behalf of the entire's managing owners, TFI.

Mo'unga, last seen finishing a first-up second in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1400m) on Saturday, has won five of his 15 starts to date highlighted by victory in last year's Group 1 Winx Stakes (1400m) and last season's Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (2000m). He also placed second in the Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m). He finished his three-year-old season with a Timeform rating of 120 and currently heads the four-year-old table with a figure of 121.
Mo'unga is next scheduled to race in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m) on March 19 at Rosehill – a track where he is unbeaten and any new connections will be able to enjoy the final stages of his racing career before he ultimately heads to stud.

The son of Savabeel (Zabeel) is free of Danehill blood and would provide the outcross option that many mare owners desire.

"TFI's business model is to identify colts with pedigrees and develop them into lucrative stallion prospects," TFI's Racing and Bloodstock Manager Sally Williams said.

"Our track record is solid with Farnan, Prague and Anders amongst the most popular first season sires to launch last season.

"With significant interest surrounding Mo'unga, TFI have entrusted the team at Magic Millions to act on their behalf to action a stud deal."

The winner of over $1.8 million in prize money to date, Mo'unga is out of the Group placed O'Reilly (Last Tycoon) mare Chandelier, who is herself a sister to dual Group winner and Group 1 placed filly Ireland.

"The invitation to participate in Mo'unga's stud career is such an exciting opportunity," Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said. "He's such a highly rated and regarded racehorse, he will without doubt be extremely well supported by the very best breeders in Australasia during the next phase of his career."

"Mo'unga has an elite Timeform peak of 121, the highest of any colt in his crop bar Champion Two-Year-Old Farnan (122).

"To be able to cheer Mo'unga home in the George Ryder Stakes before he ultimately heads to stud – it's a rare chance to invest in a horse at the elite level of the market."

Any parties interested in Mo'unga should contact either Barry Bowditch (0402 280 538) or Dane Robinson (0488 005 572).
