Xtravagant's fee increases and will stand alongside Cool Aza Beel and Super One

Newhaven Park has announced the 2022 fees for their three stallions with the roster headed by Xtragavant (Pentire) who will stand for an increased fee of $27,500 (inc GST). He will be joined by Cool Aza Beel (Savabeel) and Super One (I Am Invincible) who will both stand for $18,150 (inc GST). 

Xtravagant's first crop are now three-year-olds and his progeny are headed by the stakes winning duo Lavish Girl and He's Xceptional while his Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained juvenile daughter won the Inglis Millennium (RL, 1100m) earlier this year. The son of Pentire (Be My Guest) covered a book of 49 mares last year when his fee was advertised at $11,000 (inc GST). 

"On the back of a great season so far, we believe Xtravagant still represents great value at his new fee not only as his progeny continue to amass stakes success on the track but also as a commercial stallion," said Newhaven Park's John Kelly.

"This year his yearlings averaged $205,000 at Melbourne Premier and $112,500 at the Inglis Classic Sale and these results were off the back of a $11,000 fee in 2020." 

Cool Aza Beel covered a book of 114 mares during his first season at stud last year, while Super One will be covering his seventh book this season and his second at Newhaven Park.
