Aquis Farm announced on Twitter that young sire Spieth (Thorn Park) had died suddently.

The Tweet read: "It is with a heavy heart that Aquis Stallions announces the passing of exciting young sire Spieth. Spieth has been a much loved member of our farm since purchased in late 2017. He provided us and his ownership group with a great deal of excitement and pleasure."

Spieth's first crop are two-year-olds and to date he has sired six winners headed by the stakes performers Jaguar Stone and Birdies Galore. He covered a book of 129 mares last year during his fourth season at stud at a fee of $8,800 (inc GST) and had been due to stand for that same fee again in 2022.
