One more piece of the puzzle is left to be added to Coolmore's new-look stallion roster with fees set for the majority of stallions who will stand at the Hunter Valley stud this year.

The exception is Wootton Bassett, whose fee will be set in coming weeks.

The son of Iffraaj had yearlings sell for up to $2.1m in Australia this year, when members of his first Southern Hemisphere crop went through the sale ring.

He stood for $71,500 (inc GST) in each of his first two seasons at Coolmore Australia, had an increase to $93,500 last year and this year stands for the equivalent of around AU$325,000 in Europe.

He will be the highest-priced stallion on the Coolmore roster which for the first time in almost two decades will not feature former Australian Champion Stallion award winner Fastnet Rock (Danehill), who was pensioned at the weekend.

Coolmore last week announced that boom stallion Justify, a son of Scat Daddy, would not be returning despite covering 188 mares at $77,000 in 2023.

Home Affairs (I Am Invincible) and So You Think (High Chaparral) head the roster for those who had their 2024 fee revealed on Monday morning at $82,500 apiece, each down from $99,000 last year.

They are among nine stallions who had fee decreases for 2024.

Pierro (Lonhro) is down from $82,500 to $55,000, St Mark's Basilica (Siyouni) $44,000 down to $38,500, Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) and King's Legacy (Redoute's Choice) both $27,500 to $22,000, Churchill (Galileo) $22,000 to $19,800 and Best Of Bordeaux (Snitzel) and Yes Yes Yes (Rubick) both $19,250 after standing last year at $27,500 and $33,000 respectively.

Starspangledbanner (Choisir), who on Saturday produced Stanley Express to win the $1 million The Showdown at Caulfield is the one stallion at Coolmore who has earned and increase, up to $44,000 from $33,000 last year.

Acrobat (Fastnet Rock) remains unchanged at his 2023 fee of $13,750.

Shinzo, Snitzel's only Golden Slipper-winning son, was last year confirmed as a high-profile addition to the Coolmore roster and will command $55,000 a serve.
