Former Coolmore Stud shuttler Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) has made waves with his first northern hemisphere-bred crop and that momentum continued on Friday as he sired a stakes double as his daughter Telepathic Glances (2 f ex Caveran by Hurricane Run) landed the Premio Coolmore (Listed, 1500m) in Milan, while his son Zaffy’s Pride (2 f ex Zaafran by Singspiel) landed the Star Appeal Stakes (Listed, 7f) at Dundalk, which saw the stallion’s stakes winners count in Europe swell to four and it was his fifth stakes winner overall.

Telepathic Glances is now unbeaten in both of her career starts, having shed her maiden status on debut when winning the Premio Pontenure (1500m) on September 12 and she showed her rivals a clean pair heels, beating Gartoria - who is by Darley shuttler Territories (Invincible Spirit) into second, while Nuit Silencieuse (Kodiac) came home in third.

Purchased by Razza Latina for €16,000 at the 2019 Goffs Ireland Sportsman's Yearling Sale, Telepathic Glances becomes the second winner out of six time-winning Hurricane Run (Montjeu) mare Caveran, whose other winner Glimmies (Henrythenavigator) was also placed at Listed level.

Further back this is the same family as Summertime Legacy (Darshaan) - the dam of Group 1-winning pair Mandaean (Manduro) and Wavering (Refuse To Bend), while she is also the dam of Winters Moon (New Approach) - the dam of dual Group 1 winner Earthlight (Shamardal).

Later on in the day, the Jessica Harrington-trained Zaffy’s Pride added valuable black-type to her record when she beat Magnanimous (Mehmas) by a length and a quarter, while Admiral Nelson (Kingman) was another half a length away in third.

Purchased by BBA Ireland for €13,000 at the Goffs Ireland Autumn Yearling and Mixed Sale, the filly is one of six winners and the first stakes winner out of stakes-placed mare Zaafran (Singspiel).

Zaafran herself is a sister to Listed winner Zayn Zen - the dam of fellow Listed winner Ennaadd (King’s Best), while her other sister Rohain produced Listed winner Aussie Reigns (Aussie Rules), further back this is the same family as Listed-scoring trio Adrian (Glory Of Dancer) and Waterways (Alhaarth).

Pride Of Dubai is the sire of five stakes winners worldwide; Bella Nipotina and Tanker from his first crop in Australia, while Telepathic Glances and Zaffy’s Pride join Fancy Man and Star Of Emaraaty as his stakes winners from his first northern hemisphere crop.

The son of Street Cry (Machiavellian) - who was crowned champion first season in Australia last season - shuttled to Ireland for three seasons and now stands exclusively at Coolmore Jerrys Plains where his fee is advertised as $38,500 (inc GST).
