Coolmore Australia’s champion first season sire last season continues to make waves in Europe with his first crop with daughter Telepathic Glances (2 f ex Caveran by Hurricane Run) stepping up to Group company and taking out Sunday’s Premio Dormello (Gr 2, 1600m) at San Siro.

The Endo Botti-trained filly won the Premio Coolmore (Listed, 1500m) three weeks ago and on Sunday scored a two and three quarter length victory over Havana Love (Kodiac). German raider Salonlove (Lawman) was another three and a quarter lengths back in third.

Now the winner of her three career starts, Telepathic Glances was bought for €16,000 at the Goffs Ireland Sportsman’s Yearling Sale last year by Razza Latina. She is out of the six-time winner Caveran (Hurricane Rune) who also produced the Italian Listed placegetter Glimmies (Henrythenavigator). Further back this is the family of last year’s Prix Morny (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Earthlight (Shamardal).

In addition to Telepathic Glances, Pride Of Dubai’s first European-bred crop include Group 3 winners Flying Visit and Star Of Emaraaty and Listed scorers Zaffy’s Pride and Fancy Man. He is currently sitting at the head of the leading second season sires table in Australia by winners and second in the table by earnings behind Kermadec (Teofilo).
