Former Darley Stud shuttler Night Of Thunder (Dubawi) chalked up his 11th Group winner on Tuesday when the Francois Rohaut-trained Suesa (2 f ex Sally Is The Boss by Orpen) kept her unbeaten record intact when she landed the Prix Signy (Gr 3, 1100m) at Chantilly.

Unbeaten in both of her starts as a two-year-old, which culminated in a victory in the Prix Yacowlef (Listed, 1100m) at Chantilly on November 10, the three-year-old filly looked to have the race in the bag from a long way from home, gliding easily to a three and a half length victory over Isle Of May (Kodiac). Ideal Beauty (Invincible Spirit) was a further length and a quarter away in third.

Purchased by McKeever Bloodstock for €17,000 at the 2018 Goffs Ireland November Foal Sale, the filly it out of the unraced Orpen (Lure) mare Sally Is The Boss and she is the first stakes winner in two generations of her family.

The filly’s third dam is Canton Lightning (Rheingold) - the dam of Listed winner Chenille (Tenby), while this is also the same family as fellow Listed winner Nights Cross (Cape Cross).

The son Dubawi (Dubai Millennium) - who has sired 20 stakes winners overall - shuttled to Australia for one season and his southern hemisphere crop is headed by four stakes winners, including Group 2 winner Cherry Tortoni and Group 3 scorer A Beautiful Night.

Night Of Thunder now resides exclusively at Darley's Kildangan Stud in Ireland and he is standing for an increased fee of €75,000, having stood last season at a fee of €25,000.
