Ballylinch Stud will offer their stallions for Southern Hemisphere breeders this season with Lope De Vega (Shamardal) and New Bay (Dubawi) to be offered for €60,000 and €40,000 respectively.

Former shuttler Lope De Vega, sire of just over 110 stakes winners and 18 Group 1 winners, has stood the last three Northern Hemisphere breeding seasons for €125,000.

New Bay meanwhile covered a handful of mares to Southern Hemisphere time last year and stood for €75,000 earlier this year. His first four Northern Hemisphere-bred crops include three Group 1 winners Bay Bridge and Saffron Bay, while his son Bayside Boy joined him at Ballylinch Stud this year after retiring from racing last year.
