Fee Rise For Lope De Lega

Former Patinack shuttler Lope De Vega will stand for a career high of €100,000 at Ballylinch Stud in Ireland, an increase of €20,000 from his 2019 fee.

The son of Shamardal shuttled to Australia for four seasons between 2011 and 2014 and has enjoyed another successful season on the track with his son Phoenix Of Spain landing the Irish 2000 Guineas (G 1). Of his 65 stakes winners Lope De Vega has sired eight other Group 1 winners to date including Santa Ana Lane and Vega Magic.

Lope De Vega stood for a fee of $27,500 (inc GST) during his first two seasons in Australia before his fee was dropped to $22,000 in 2013 and 2014.
