Despite 2 days remaining, the 2018 gross at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale was surpassed at this year's renewal on Friday. During the 2019 sale so far, 2,370 horses have been sold for US$198,257,400 at an average of US$83,653 and a median of US$31,000 compared to the 2018 renewal when 2,644 horses sold for a total of US$197,851,300. 

Friday's session topper was Upandtotheright, a daughter of Creative Cause who was purchased by Hill 'N' Dale for US$77,000. The three-year-old was sold by Lane's End as agent in foal to Connect. The sale finishes on Sunday 17 November.
