Freedman Racing, Julian Blaxland and Stephen Hillen bought a son of Lope De Vega (Shamardal) for 220,000 guineas on Wednesday. Offered by Ballylinch Stud as Lot 188, http://db.tattersalls.com:8080/4DCGI/Sale/Live?site=NMT the colt is the first foal out of Listed placed Oasis Dream (Green Desert) mare Pacharana with this also being the family of multiple Group One winner St Nicholas Abbey (Montjeu).

Danny O'Brien will be hoping lightning can strike twice having bought Russian Camelot (Camelot) at Tattersalls as a yearling and on Wednesday he teamed up with bloodstock agent Jeremy Brummitt again to buy a colt by Frankel (Galileo). Sold by The Castlebridge Consignment as Lot 258, the colt is the second foal out of Group Three winner Sea Of Grace (Born To Sea).

Having bought two lots on Tuesday, Price Kent Racing and Dermot Farrington added one further lot to their haul when going to 100,000 guineas for a filly by Nathaniel (Galileo). Sold by Aston Mullins Stud as Lot 299, the filly is a half-sister to the stakes winning trio Faciascura (Oratorio), Finidaprest (Dylan Thomas) and Fambrus (Oasis Dream) being out of the Group placed Montjeu (Sadler's Wells) mare Sunsemperchi.

Also active on Wednesday was Yulong Investments who bought two lots with BBA Ireland. The most expensive of these was a colt by Dubawi (Dubai Millennium) who was bought for 410,000 guineas while earlier in the session the operation went to 115,000 guineas to secure a colt by the late Shamardal (Giant's Causeway).
