Sells for €125,000 on day two of the Goffs February Sale.
A colt by former Darley shuttler Night Of Thunder (Dubawi) was the top lot of day two of the Goffs February Sale on Wednesday when bought for €125,000 by Abbelyands Farm.
Offered as Lot 285 by Baroda Stud, the colt is the fourth foal out of Afdhaad (Nayef), a half-sister to stakes winning pair Alrahma (Shamardal) and Efaadah (Dansili), being out of Listed winner Albaraah (Oasis Dream).
The Night Of Thunder colt was the only lot to make six figures, with a son of Darley shuttler Exceed And Excel (Danehill) the next most expensive offering. Sold as Lot 275 the colt was bought by PD Evans and Finn Kent for €75,000.
Overall on Wednesday, 138 of the 182 lots offered sold for €2,161,800. The average finished at €15,665 and median was €10,000.
The third and final session of the sale will be held on Thursday.
