Former Coolmore shuttler Vancouver (Medaglia d’Oro) sired his fourth northern hemisphere winner on Monday when the Brittany Russell-trained Adelaide Miss (2 f ex Miss Judged by E Dubai) shed her maiden tag over five furlongs at Colonial Downs.

The two-year-old filly beat Chatelet (Into Mischief) by half a length with Flutiste (Mizzen Mast) finishing another length away in third.

Purchased by Magna Carta for US$23,000 at the 2018 Keeneland Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, before being purchased by Respect the Vallies for US$4,200 Fasig Tipton October Yearling Sale the following year, the filly is the only winner out of winning E Dubai (Mr Prospector) mare Miss Judged, who was purchased by the China Horse Club for US$12,000 at the 2017 Keeneland November Breeding Sale with the filly in utero.

Miss Judged herself is a half-sister to Listed-winning duo Lemon Chiffon (Lemon Drop Kid) and Masked Maiden (Sky Mesa) and the dam of fellow Listed winner Montataire (Cape Cross).

Further back this is the same family as elite-level scorers Zoftig (Cozzene), Zo Impressive (Hard Spun) and Zaftig (Gone West).

The son of Medaglia d’Oro’s (El Prado) first crop includes South African Grade 2 winner Mount Pleasant and he finished last season in Australia with 11 winners. The stallion will stand the 2020 season at Coolmore Stud for $30,250 (inc GST), having stood the 2019 term for $44,000 (inc GST).
