Havre de Grace (Saint Liam), 2011 Horse of the Year, died on Sunday morning at Time Town Farm in Kentucky. She was 16.

Havre de Grace haemorrhaged multiple times after foaling a colt by Into Mischief (Harlan's Holiday) two days prior.

A nine-time winner and a triple Grade 1 winner, Havre de Grace sold to Mandy Pope's Whisper Hill Farm for $10,000,000 at Fasig-Tipton's The November Sale in 2010.

She produced eight foals and of those, five have won to date. Five of her first six foals are by the Gainsay-based Tapit (Pulpit) including Graded winner Graceful Princess.
