Australian Colt Stays Unbeaten In South Africa

Sought after sire Snitzel's Australian-bred colt Unannounced has extended his unbeaten record in South Africa.

Unannounced (Snitzel x Dialogue by Dehere) to his perfect record to six wins from six starts in the Marula Sprint at Scottsville on Sunday.

The Charles Laird trained colt is owned by his stable's major client Marcus Jooste and will now head for feature black-type events in the Senor Santa Hcp and the Computaform Sprint.

The Australian bred youngster was purchased for $220,000 from the Patinack Farm draft at the 2010 Gold Coast Magic Millions.

His dam Dialogue is a half-sister to Diatribe (Brief Truce), the dual G1 winner of the Caulfield Cup

and Rosehill Guineas.

Dialogue has a 2YO filly by Wonderful World and a filly foal by Casino Prince.

Snitzel has sired 111 individual winners from his first three Australian-bred crops to race.

He has also sired 34 winners in Japan from one season shuttling to Shadai Farm in 2007.

He returned to Japan for another northern season in 2011.

The G1 Oakleigh Plate winner by Redoute's Choice stands with his sire at Arrowfield Stud.
