• THE first foal by Group One-winning Australian sprinter ShamExpress has been born at Windsor Park Stud in New Zealand.

The filly foal is out of New Age Rocka, a three-quarter sister to G1Flight Stakes winner Danglissa.

"She is a cracker", commented Windsor Park studmaster Rodney Schick. "Any stud would be proud of a well conformed foal like this.”

ShamExpress will stand his second season at Windsor Park where his fee has been confirmed at $NZ12,500+GST.

• SCONE’s Turangga Farm has thrown its support behind the 2015 Taree Gold Cup meeting on August 23.

The Hunter Valley stud will this year be adding G1 performer Trusting to its stallion roster this spring and will offer a free service to the son of Tale Of The Cat Trusting as a bonus for the winner of the Fillies and Mares C1 Handicap over 1250m on Taree Cup Day.

• LITTLE Critter will be the first son of high class sprinter Court Command at stud when he serves his first season at JTM Thoroughbreds in the central west of NSW this spring.

Little Critter was a talented 2YO winner in Adelaide when trained by Tony McEvoy.

Golden Rose winner Court Command, a four time Group winner by Commands, died at the age of 10 after suffering a colic attack.

Little Critter is out of the Rustic Amber mare Gotha, dam of eight winners including Chakvetadze, winner of eight of his 11 starts including the Gold Coast Guineas.

Gotha's progeny also includes metropolitan winners Gotham Ruler, Jedi Knight and Queen Amidala.

Gotha’s dam Lady Marita, by Lord Dudley, produced seven winners.
