Our Best Bet - Race 3 Number 4 Ritza Smoke @ 7.57pm Fixed Odds N.S.W TAB $2.30

Ritza Smoke appears here from box 4 in a moderate fifth grade race. The Mark Gatt trained Blue brindle dog has career stats of 14 starts for 4 wins and 6 minor placings and a very good 29.53 personal best for the 520 metre journey here at Wentworth Park.

The vacant box to his outside is an advantage as this will give him clear room to move early on. He ran an unlucky sixth last time behind the likes of Zipping Megatron, Omega Jacob and Has Ability. This is a decent drop in grade considering the types of greyhounds he met at his last start.

The danger might be Canya Smoke Them but he doesn't appear to be boxed well in the 7.

Our Best Each Way -  Race 6 Number 6 Rockstar Maglev @ 8.57pm Fixed Odds N.S.W TAB $4.20

Comes to Wentworth Park for the first time after an impressive double over the 520 metres at Nowra the best being a 29.99 performance.

Had been spending the early part of his career learning his trade up the straight at Richmond before a short spell and a quick 20.77 stewards trail at Nowra over the 365 metres.

May have needed some time to mature being by Pindari Express and the vacant box to his inside will be a good advantage. This is a moderate fifth grade event and provides a good chance to open his Wentworth Park account.

Our Best Roughie - Race 5 Number 5 Here We Go @8.38pm Fixed Odds N.S.W TAB $10

Here We Go lands in a restricted 1 win race coming off a very good 29.70 win over the 515 metres at The Gardens on the 16th of March. Had been in the market three starts prior at The Gardens with very little luck in running.

This son of Fernando Bale should be strong as his mother Keydra won races here at Wentworth Park over the 520 and 720 metres.

No greyhound in this field has run better than 30.31 so its a wide open affair. I'm happy to be on at $10 coming off a win over a similar distance in good time.

If he jumps like he did last start at The Gardens he will be very hard to beat.

The remainder of the meeting sees the very talented Overflow Beau go round in Race 8 from the one box and will start a very short priced favorite for Craig Chappelow of Embrace fame.

In race 10 we also see Tokyo Drift appear who's career has been sadly riddled with injury and setback. The 3 and a half year old has only had 19 career starts for 12 wins and appeared at Richmond over the 320 in a non grade after an astonishing 8 months off the scene to run a blistering 17.92 off the 8 box in what was an amazing return.

If he can be left alone early he could burn the clock and run a sub 16 second run.

If you are gambling please do so responsibly and within your means. Good luck and good punting.
