Race 1: Yue Man Handicap (2nd Section)

#3 Dr Winning is racing well. He'll find himself in the right spot here from gate two which should give him every chance in the finish. He's the one to beat. #2 Viva Hunter has a powerful finish on his day. He's a two-time winner in this grade already this season and the booking of Zac Purton warrants respect. #6 Shiny One returns to the turf. He's a blow-out chance off the back of a solid effort two starts ago over this course and distance. #5 Charge On is next best.

Race 2: Hoi Yuen Handicap (1st Section)

#10 Seizing The Moment is on the steady improve. He's favoured by a handy pull in the weights here off the back of a strong showing last start when third. #4 Storm Warnings is second up for David Hall. He did well upon resuming and is expected to show further improvement here with that run under his belt. #1 Decisive Twelve mixes his form but has a stack of ability on his day. #6 Faulds did well on debut. He pairs with Alexis Badel and if he shows any sign of his pre-import form then he's in with a chance.

Race 3: Yue Man Handicap (1st Section)

#3 Smiling City mixes his form but has won off close to this mark before. He can improve here and shouldn't be discounted – especially following a short stint at Conghua. #2 Rainbow Light returns first-up following a solid debut season. He moved well in a recent trial and does appear wound-up to win upon resumption. #10 Faithful Trinity should find the front and roll along here. He'll look the winner at some stage. #5 Viva Popcorn is chasing back-to-back wins. He's in-form and looks well rated for Zac Purton.

Race 4: Tsun Yip Handicap

#7 Gorgeous Vitality has shown plenty in his trials prior to his debut run two starts ago. He looks like a sharp youngster who should relish getting around a bend here. Expect improvement; the strong booking of Vincent Ho suits. #3 Lightning Storm scored nicely on debut before being overrun for fourth last time out. He draws well. #4 Excellent Peers is on the steady improve. He's closing in on a first win in Hong Kong. #1 Ka Ying Spirit should find the front. He can string them along here for Karis Teetan.

Race 5: Wai Yip Handicap (1st Section)

#7 Sight Hero has been knocking on the door a number of times this season – albeit as a one-time winner back in October. Still, he's holding his condition well and gate three gives him his chance. He's the one to beat. #5 Noble Desire has claims – especially over this course and distance. #4 Fiery Diamond has done nothing but impress so far across three starts in Hong Kong – finishing second twice. He only needs to offset gate 12 to be competitive here. #11 Happy Gathering slots in light. He's consistent enough to warrant consideration.

Race 6: Wai Yip Handicap (2nd Section)

#1 Awesome Treasure should find the front and try to run away with this. He's a talent with a stack of early ability who is favoured from gate two against this bunch. #8 Bingo Bingo has his fair share of ability. He turned his form around last start, and he comes through a very strong race which holds him in good stead for this. #2 Packing Award returns second-up following a solid first-up effort. He should improve once more as his rise looks far from over. #3 Savvy Delight has claims. He should get the last drop on them from the good gate.

Race 7: Hoi Yuen Handicap (2nd Section)

#8 Harmony N Home has been competitive off this mark before. He draws well for this contest and with even luck he rates as the one to beat. #4 Toronado Phantom is racing well. He takes a bit to get going on the turn but his best should see him test this group. #9 Star Brite is slowly coming to hand. He has the ability it's just a matter of time before he puts it all together. #6 Prance Dragon is chasing a third win from his last four starts. He'll be in the right spot throughout.

Race 8: Hip Wo Handicap

#12 Nervous Witness is a supreme talent who appears in excellent order off the back of a strong first-past-the-post trial effort at Happy Valley recently. He can translate that form to the races here with no weight on his back. #4 We The South should be able to camp in the right spot on the rail. He'll be in the finish. #1 Voyage Warrior has the class edge here. He just needs to offset the big weight. #11 Sparkling Dragon should benefit from a fast tempo. He's next best.

Race 9: Hung To Handicap

#5 Presence has taken time but it looks as though he's finally come to hand now. He turned in a very, very good performance last start – even while being squeezed for room over the concluding stages. Gate Three suits and he's ready to win in Hong Kong. #3 Maldives is nothing short of consistent with four placings from his last five runs. He'll be thereabouts once more. #11 Zone D steps out for the in-form John Size who on Sunday, collected a treble. He's favoured from gate one. #1 Soulmate makes his own luck. He'll look the winner at some stage.

Race 10: Mut Wah Handicap

#12 Righteous Doctrine is getting down to a very dangerous mark. He's found form of late and with the right run – under these conditions – he is the one to beat. #7 Storm Legend is better than this record suggests. Getting out to these distances looks right up his alley. #3 Savvy Kingman loves Happy Valley. He pairs favourably with Zac Purton here in his bid to maintain sparkling consistency. #6 Meaningful Star draws well and has found sharp form. He has claims here.
