Race 1: Wo Che Handicap

#2 Daily Charm has been knocking on the door for another win for quite some time. Still, he's racing well this term and the return to Class 5 of late has been more than beneficial. #12 Wealthy Employee is competitive in his spot. He's favoured with no weight following a solid effort last time out when third. #10 Great Times turned his form around last start. He might be ready to go on with it now. #8 Crown Avenue mixes his form but, on his day, does warrant consideration. Don't discount.

Race 2: Sun Tin Wai Handicap

#2 Jade Theatre has won off near this mark before over this course and distance. He's a threat now – especially with Zac Purton aboard armed with a solid barrier this weekend. #11 The Elites is a one-time course and distance winner this term. He can turn it around after a lacklustre effort at the rear of the field last time out. #5 Fortune Happiness draws wide but is a threat in his spot. Strong booking of Joao Moreira who returns from suspension. #10 Masterwork is improving. He can be competitive here.

Race 3: Shui Chuen O Handicap

#8 Thunderstrike won well over the course and distance three starts ago. He's remained in sound form and a return to the dirt here looks suitable. #3 Eight Trigrams is racing well and is favoured from gate two. He gets his chance under Jerry Chau. #4 Sergeant Pepper steps out for Zac Purton and Me Tsui who combined for a win at the midweek card. He's shown ability and remains a threat. #9 Flying On The Turf much prefers the dirt to his namesake. He's worth keeping safe.

Race 4: Mei Tin Handicap

#4 Champion Dragon is a nice horse on the rise. He's lightly raced in Hong Kong but does look to have a very, very bright future over these distances. It wouldn't shock to see him squeeze his way into the Derby field. #2 Crossford is a two-time winner from his last four starts. He's in career-best form and remains a threat. #3 Superbella is chasing back-to-back wins. He's racing well and is favoured in this grade again. #5 Rise Brethren is on the steady improve. Don't discount.

Race 5: Lung Hang Handicap

#4 Private Rocket draws well and has previously run very, very well on the dirt. He can hold his own on the surface and from gate four he gets every possible chance. He's fit and ready to win again. #6 Everyone's Victory is in sublime form. He doesn't know how to run poorly and from gate three he gets every chance to perform again. #9 Lightning Bolt might be able to spark something up here on the dirt. He has the ability and shouldn't be discounted. #2 So We Joy just needs to overcome the wide draw. Next best.

Race 6: Shek Mun Handicap

#5 Leslie is a lightly raced talent. He's placed twice in a pair of hot contests, and it wouldn't surprise to see him get the job done now. He's hit the ground running in Hong Kong. #6 Brilliant Way finished third on debut. He did well considering he raced without luck. He's the main danger. #8 Happy Day rattled into third on debut. He looks to have his fair of ability. #1 Miracle Victory is chasing a hat-trick of wins. He draws well and just needs to offset the hefty impost.

Race 7: Sun Chui Handicap

#10 Durham Star is closing in on a first win. He looks to have a bit of ability and the rise to seven furlongs looks a plus for him here. #3 Oriental Smoke looks like he will continue to improve each time as he gets up in trip. Suspect he's after a mile but this looks like a step in the right direction. #2 Golden Empire won well two starts ago. He's remained in good form and gets his chance again. #7 Solar Partner finished second last start. He's close to a first win and is aided with Joao Moreira up.

Race 8: The Hong Kong Classic Cup

#7 Turin Redsun has shown plenty of ability across his short three-start career in Hong Kong. He's very well bred and looks well placed to improve further here, especially with Alexis Badel hopping aboard. #10 Money Catcher was interfered with in the straight last time out. He looks to have a bit more to give and now, in his third run in Hong Kong, he looks set to show all of that. This race looks wide open if the favourites don't perform. #2 Romantic Warrior has swept all before him, but this contest is tricky. He could well become unstuck here, especially from the wide ally. Even still, his latest win must be respected. #1 California Spangle should find the front. He'll look the winner at some stage.

Race 9: Mei Lam Handicap

#6 Running Glory is chasing a hat-trick of wins. He's rising sharply through the grades and his ascent looks far from over. He can settle back from the wide gate where he is comfortable and, from there unleash his ripping turn of foot which he's shown the last two times. #8 Seasons Bliss has the class, but he is his own worst enemy at times. With a clean run he can make his presence felt. #3 Sauvestre is on the up. He's close to a first win in Hong Kong. #2 Regency Bo Bo has race-experience on his side. Don't discount.

Race 10: Lek Yuen Handicap

#10 Stoltz has shot to prominence with consecutive wins – one in course record time at Happy Valley. He's favoured from gate three which should give him every opportunity close to the speed under Zac Purton. #1 Trillion Win doesn't know how to run a bad race. He deserves with respect with a significant class-edge over rivals here. #4 Fantastic Way gets his chance again. Don't discount. #2 Winning Dreamer has lost his way a touch and gate 14 will make things hard. But still, he only needs to find his best to be in with a chance.
