Race 1: Nam Wan Handicap

#5 Excellent Proposal should relish the return to a mile. He has a stack of ability on his day and the step back in trip is a positive. He's the one to beat here with no weight; armed with the good gate. #6 Cheerful Days is in career-best form. He doesn't know how to lose with five wins from his last six starts and once again he remains a leading contender. #2 Healthy Happy should find the front. He can dictate terms to suit himself. #4 Champion's Way has claims. He's coming back to form.

Race 2: Yuen Shin Handicap

#8 Mission Smart can turn his form around. He's a much, much better horse than his last start suggests. Expect from the good gate he can settle closer in the run and make a charge at this contest. #1 Kung Fu Tea steps down in grade. He has the class edge on a number of rivals here. #2 Apex Top did well first-up. He has class and should improve with that first-up effort under his belt. #4 Seize The Spirit is always a competitor in this grade. He draws well and is favoured with Zac Purton aboard.

Race 3: Tai Mei Tuk Handicap

#5 Whizz Kid is chasing back-to-back wins. Expect he finds the front and tries to pinch this one, which he very well can. Strong booking of Joao Moreira suggests he's holding his condition. #11 Proud Dragon is better than his record suggests. He has a powerful finish under his belt and the light weight gives him his opportunity. #1 King Land steps out on debut with Zac Purton engaged. He remains a threat. #2 Harmony Fire makes his first start at Sha Tin. He looks well placed to transfer his Happy Valley heroics to the big track.

Race 4: Yuen Chau Tsai Handicap

#2 Hang's Decision pairs favourably with Vincent Ho. He's raced well all season and although he's getting on in age, he does still have a strong finish in his arsenal. He's worth taking a chance on. #4 Right As Rain is coming to hand. He's closing in on a first win and it wouldn't surprise to see him nail it here. #5 Robot Warrior has the ability but has struggled stringing together a few good runs at a time. Still, he's advantaged from gate four. #10 Eevee is improving. Don't discount.

Race 5: Wu Kau Tang Handicap

#8 Fantastic Show has a powerful finish on his day. He's coming to hand and has been racing well this term. Strong booking of Vincent Ho signals intent, especially as he is now back to a more than competitive mark. #1 Brilliant Way is edging close to a first win in Hong Kong. He looks like a real talent who, once again, should make a good account of himself. #2 General Winner is racing well. He's on the improve each time he steps out. #12 Plikclone has race experience on his side. He's dangerous off this mark with Zac Purton up.

Race 6: Ting Kok Handicap

#1 Turin Warrior steps down in grade. He's shown a bit of prowess early on and in this grade he looks well placed to spark sharp improvement. #3 Packing Treadmill was impressive on debut – winning nicely under Zac Purton who sticks aboard. He looks to have a number of rating points in hand. #8 Fun N Glory is racing well. He's lightly raced but did display an enormous turn of foot last start to grab third. Expect improvement again. #2 Birdsville is not without a chance. He's steadily on the improve.

Race 7: Lam Tsuen Handicap

#7 Duke Wai gets his chance here with no weight on his back. He's favoured near the bottom of the scale, and he can make good use of a hot tempo. He's the value and has proven his worth in this grade. #8 Master Eight is class – even if he was defeated last start at Group 1 level. He can bounce back for Joao Moreira. #1 Hot King Prawn boasts the best record in the field. No doubts around his ability, just the hefty impost which will hold him back. #10 Voyage Warrior comes good at this part of the season. He's next best.

Race 8: Tai Po Market Handicap

#4 Super Winner is expected to roll forward and try his best to pinch this. He's a classy on-pacer who can string this field out. #1 Copartner Ambition has a stack of ability. The wide gate is a hindrance but still, he does get Zac Purton up in his bid to offset this issue. #8 Perfect Pair is coming back to his best. He's in red-hot form at the minute and is a threat off his current mark. #3 Excellent Daddy has a bit of class. He's chance from gate two under Karis Teetan.

Race 9: Tai Po Kau Handicap

#11 Phoenix Light looks like a little talent on the rise. He was beaten on debut but prior to that effort he did show plenty of promise in his trials. Expect he can bounce back here around a bend, and he should be good value to do so. #2 Gallant Express won well last time out. He's in form and gets his chance again from the good gate. #6 War Weapon draws well and does have his fair share of ability. He remains a threat. #9 Double Six Pop commands respect. He definitely has talent and might be worth taking a chance on at a price.

Race 10: Pat Sin Leng Handicap

#3 The Golden Scenery has a stack of class and potential – both of which he showed last star with a comfortable success over this course and distance. He can win again. #2 Master Montaro is a threat in these contests. He draws favourably for Zac Purton and, it seems as though, his best is still yet to come. #10 Igniting should roll forward in a bid to offset the wide gate. He gets his chance here. #14 Captain Win slots in light with no weight on his back. Don't discount.
