 Race 1: Connaught Handicap

#2 Special M doesn't know how to run a poor race. He's holding his condition – as he has done all season – and with Zac Purton engaged he shapes as the one to beat. #4 Whizz Kid is expected to roll forward and find the front. He'll take some catching under Joao Moreira after narrowly missing last time out. #5 Forte can improve again off the back of a solid effort last start. He's favoured at the bottom of the weight scale. #1 Harmony Fire has the class and easily does his best racing at Happy Valley. Keep safe.

 Race 2: Murray Handicap

#5 Victorious Seeker is a threat over this distance. He should get a charmed run throughout and is favoured against this group. #2 Natural Storm is closing in on another win. He draws favourably with gate one and is armed with Joao Moreira who, on Sunday, nailed a three-timer. #3 Super Hong Kong is in career-best form with two wins from his last four starts. #6 Winning Volatility has claims. He'll need a race run to suit but should get every chance from the inside draw under Zac Purton.

 Race 3: Queensway Handicap

#8 Humble Steed should improve after his first run back from a lengthy layoff. He's had his fair share of issues but he appears well now and with that effort under his belt he looks set to finally take another step forward. #11 Smiling Face slots in light and gets his chance again. He's yet to win but is favoured with no weight on his back. #3 Mister Arm is a one-time winner in the grade. Zac Purton should ensure he gets every possible chance. #7 Diamond Star is after back-to-back wins. Keep safe.

 Race 4: Chater Handicap

#2 Money Catcher is the one to beat here after two strong third placings in the Hong Kong Classic Cup and BMW Hong Kong Derby. He can transfer that form the Valley where he should, make good account of himself here. #4 Enjoying finally got his reward last time out with a first win. He remains a threat once more from the inside draw. #5 Sunny Star has a powerful finish on his day. He can be a factor with a race run to suit. #1 Telecom Fighters has the class-edge. Don't discount.

 Race 5: Ice House Handicap

#11 Faribault is racing well. He's closing in on another win and is favoured with the light weight, inside draw and services of Joao Moreira. #6 Shining Fortune steps on out debut for John Size. It wouldn't surprise to see him come out and perform well first-up for the master handler who regularly strikes with debutants. #5 Noble One must be better than his latest effort at the trials suggests. Strong booking of Zac Purton bears close watching. #1 Mighty Valor steps down to Class 4 where he nailed his most recent win. Next best.

 Race 6: Glenealy Handicap

#5 Exceptional Nice is unlucky not to already be a winner. He's better than his record suggests and if he can put his best foot forward here then he rates as the one to beat. #8 Nothing Impossible slots in light and can reverse his form here – as he did two starts ago. #9 The Anomaly commands respect. He could find the front and take a fair bit of catching. #1 Cinquante Cinq draws favourably. A return to form wouldn't surprise here for the in-form Benno Yung.

Race 7: Lambeth Handicap (1st Section)

#6 Sure Joyful has shown he has his fair share of ability. He's progressing nicely and his booking with Joao Moreira commands respect. #3 Flaming Eagle did well to grab third on debut. Blake Shinn retains the ride and he can take another step forward as long as he manages to offset the wide gate. #8 Gang Of Brothers is improving with each and every outing. He too has claims but will need to overcome barrier 12. #2 Bingo Bingo is a nice horse. Gate one suits and he's on the steady improve.

Race 8: Lambeth Handicap (2nd Section)

#7 Harrier Jet is nothing short of consistent. He's getting on in age but he's showing that it's of no hindrance to him and from the good gate he can mount a strong challenge. #1 Fabulous Eight is holding his form. He's chasing an overdue win and the retention of Joao Moreira gives him that chance. #2 Kokushi Musou is after back-to-back wins. He's a nice horse on the rise and gate one is favourable. #10 Hero Star gets another chance. Don't discount him with the right run throughout.

 Race 9: Des Voeux Handicap

#4 Star Brite is a talent. He's coming to hand and has recently put together several competitive efforts. He can get off the mark for Zac Purton from gate one. #1 Transcendent is class in his spot. He's returned to a competitive mark and does boast a significant class-edge on rivals here. #2 Sky Forever is unlucky not to already be a winner this campaign. He only needs to offset the wide gate. #6 Flaming Passion comes through a strong race behind Lucky Sweynesse. Keep safe.
