Race 1: Siu Ho Wan Handicap

#5 Sweet Diamond did well on debut to grab a fast-closing fourth. He can take another step forward here at just his second start. #6 Wonderful Warrior steps out first-up off the back of a strong trial showing. He can make his presence felt for Joao Moreira and Caspar Fownes. #3 Glenealy Generals won well down the straight two starts ago. He's held his condition and remains a threat. #9 Cheval Valiant is closing in on a first win in town. He's taken time but is worth consideration.

 Race 2: Tung Chung Handicap

#3 Towards Success is closing in on a first win. He did well last start from the tail of the field and once again rates strongly. Strong booking of Zac Purton holds him in very, very good stead. #9 Zacian has claims. He's yet to win but has shown his capabilities at times. #11 One Step Ahead is holding his condition. He only needs to offset the wide barrier to warrant a challenge here. #2 Beauty Cheers is relishing the return to Class 5. He can mount an assault from gate one with Luke Currie up.

 Race 3: Tai Ho Handicap

#4 Starry Night has hit the ground running since arriving in Hong Kong. He can take another step forward here and with even luck he is the one to beat. Strong booking of Zac Purton who sticks aboard. #7 Happy Trio caught the eye on debut when third. He's open to further improvement for Douglas Whyte and Lyle Hewitson who scored a win in tandem at Happy Valley. #3 Ever Force is better than his record suggests. Good gate enhances his claims. #2 Chicken Dance has the class but his soundness has always been a concern. Next best.

 Race 4: Yi O Handicap

#2 Flying Mighty is yet to win in Hong Kong but now, in Class 5, he gets his chance to breakthrough with Zac Purton up. The distance suits and this is his race to lose if he manages to put his best foot forward. #3 Go Go Sixteen is after back-to-back wins. He did well last start to score and is expected to have held his form between runs. #6 Jolly Forever is doing no wrong. He can take another step forward from the inside draw after finishing second last start. #11 Fortune Triple is next best. He slots in light and has claims.

Race 5: Tong Fuk Handicap

#7 Cheery is progressing well. He's shown steady improvement across two starts, enough so to suggest that he is ready to win now. Strong booking of Joao Moreira signals intent from the in-form Ricky Yiu. #10 Joyful Genius is yet to win and seems to do everything right except get his nose in front. Perhaps from the inside draw and with Zac Purton engaged, he can be a threat. #4 Amazing Victory turned his form around last start. Expect he rolls forward to make a run at this contest. #2 Turin Warrior has a powerful finish when required. Respect.

 Race 6: Tong Fuk Handicap

#12 Apex Top looks to have turned a corner this season. He narrowly missed last start and any further improvement off that effort here holds him good stead. #8 All Riches kept on gamely at 51/1 from the front last start. Expect he tries the same again and if he can offset the tricky draw, he could well take some running down. #5 Star Contact is a talent in his spot. He's progressing well. #3 Erimo did well on debut, although did show inexperience. He's on an upward trajectory.

Race 7: Chek Lap Kok Handicap

#1 Nervous Witness is a speed machine. He kicked on nicely for a smart win last start and this contest looks well within his grasp. He can win again off the back of that effort. #2 Stoltz returns to five furlongs. This is a positive move for the speedster who currently owns Happy Valley's 1000m course record. #5 Carroll Street loves the straight and is a threat in his spot. #4 Hong Kong Win has returned to a competitive mark. He's ready to contend again for Joao Moreira.

Race 8: Sha Lo Wan Handicap

#5 Copartner Elites has hit the ground running in Hong Kong. He's done everything right so far and if the cards fall his way, then he is the one to beat. #2 Champion Dragon should find the front and try to run this group along. He can improve down in grade after misfiring in the BMW Hong Kong Derby last start. #4 Running Glory is a three-time winner from his last four starts. He draws well and gets his chance. #9 Powerful Wings is a well-bred son of Kingman. He has claims.

 Race 9: Ngong Ping Handicap

#5 Packing Treadmill is a super smart talent and he's looking to remain unbeaten here with his third win. He was imperious from the front last start and this field appears well within his capabilities. #7 War Weapon is better than his record suggests. He was poor in blinkers last start but they come off here for what is sure to be an improved effort. #1 Buzzinga kicked clear for a stylish win on debut. #6 Voyage Bubble is a threat from the inside draw. He has the class to mix it with this group.

 Race 10: Mui Wo Handicap

#4 The Golden Scenery has a powerful finish when required. He's progressing well and looks well placed to take another step forward here. Suspect he can continue his ascent here which does appear far from over. #9 Good Luck Friend is better than his record suggests. He's returned to a dangerous mark and is well placed with Joao Moreira engaged. #1 Silver Express has the class edge. He's a winner in the grade above, however, the wide gate doesn't make things easy. #3 Master Montaro has claims. Next best.
