Race 1: Windy Gap Handicap

#3 Dragon Baby is favoured down in grade. He's capable here with Joao Moreira up from the good gate against this group, especially as a winner in the class above previously. #5 Seize The Spirit is racing well. He's a threat here. #4 Red Brick Fighter also makes the class-drop. Zac Purton hops up now after a lacklustre effort last time out. He can make sharp improvement. #10 Mission Smart steps away favourably from gate three. He'll get his shot close to the speed from the inside draw.

Race 2: Siu Ma Shan Handicap

#7 E Brother turned his form around to finish second last start. He's come to hand – even if it took a bit of time – and now, from gate five, he gets his chance to get on the board. #3 Colourful Prince steps out on debut after he was withdrawn pre-race last start. He showed plenty of quality in trials and is expected to be forward enough to figure first-up in town. #2 Utopia Life returns to the turf where he has been competitive. He has claims. #11 Wisdom Patch pairs favourably with Joao Moreira. He's advantaged with no weight on his back.

Race 3: Stanley Gap Handicap

#9 Super Highway has struggled to transfer his trial form to the races. He arrived on debut with plenty of expectations, however, he's since failed to meet those across three runs. This time from gate one though, perhaps he can roll forward and give this lot something to catch. #1 Lucky Gold has steadily progressed. He steps back in grade now and his pairing with Zac Purton for the first time commands respect. #8 King Of The Court is better than his record suggests. Keep safe. #13 Stunning Impact gets Joao Moreira engaged and off a light weight. He has a powerful finish when asked.

Race 4: Pottinger Peak Handicap

#8 Gallant Hero soared from the back last start. He has a powerful turn of foot and he looks capable of capitalising on an estimated hot tempo early on. #3 Smiling Collector won well on debut. He gets around a bend again and maps to get the dream run throughout under Keith Yeung. #5 California Vanes reversed his form last start to finish second, holding on bravely while trying to make all. He can take another step forward. #1 Prosecco has taken time to acclimatise. Still, he has claims and did spark significant improvement after stepping down in grade.

Race 5: Violet Hill Handicap

#2 Looking Cool is coming along in leaps and bounds. He looks ready to carry on with it now, especially as he pairs with Zac Purton for the first time from the favourable draw. The dip to Class 4 looks incredibly ideal also. #7 Right As Rain is a nice horse with a strong finish. He has the talent and is only improving each time he races. #11 Eevee is doing everything right except win. He can be competitive. #10 Sunny Delight slots in light and is better than his record suggests. Don't discount.

Race 6: Mount Butler Handicap

#7 Infinite Power maps to get the run of the race. He should find the front with ease from gate four and from there, take a stack of running down. #4 Apache Pass is a two-time winner from his last four starts. He's remained in form since then and is favoured on the dirt under these conditions. #3 Turin Redstar has class on his side. He knows what it's all about and in the right spot, he can danger this group. #8 Romantic Combo boasts a powerful finish. The light weight suits.

Race 7: Cheung Lin Shan Handicap

#1 Flying Season is chasing a hat-trick of wins. He's class and appears to have a bit on this field. The only hindrance is getting around a bend now, but he's been a different horse since the blinkers were applied. #2 Run Run Cool is chasing back-to-back wins. He finally got off the mark last start and did so with arrogance. #5 Trader is racing well. He can figure from gate four. #10 Savvy Delight won well last start for the first time in town. It wouldn't surprise to see him go on with it again after finally piecing it together.

Race 8: Tai Tam Gap Handicap

#12 Sun Of Makfi is closing in on a first win. He's finished second his last two starts and it could well be a case of third time lucky. The inside draw is a plus on the dirt. #9 Blotting Paper is also looking to snap consecutive runner-up efforts. Zac Purton hops up now and it wouldn't surprise to see him try and make all, as he has done in the past for a win. #4 Mission Bravo is looking for a hat-trick of wins. He could do a stack of work from the wide gate but even still, if he manages to cross the field then he's a chance. #1 Fast Pace is on the quick back-up – which has returned a win previously for the stable. Don't discount.

Race 9: D'Aguilar Peak Handicap

#11 Magic Supreme is in superb form this term. He slots in light and with the right run from the positive gate, he is capable of striking. #1 Campione should roll to the front and try to make all, just as he did last start. He's got a bit of class about him, and he only needs to offset gate 12 to be a factor. #8 Like That is chasing a hat-trick of wins. This is a stiff contest and although he's in good form, this isn't easy. #7 Lightning Bolt was narrowly touched off by Like That last start. He's lightly raced and does appear to have plenty of upside. Next best.

Race 10: Ma Kong Shan Handicap

#12 Harmony Win Win gets his chance with no weight on his back. He's been racing well and just might catch this group at the right time. Lyle Hewitson gets on well with him and he's back aboard this weekend. #3 Sauvestre finally got off the mark two starts ago. He's shown his quality this term and is favoured stepping away from gate three. #4 Super Dynamite got off the mark last time out. He's taken his time but now, it looks as though he's figured what it's all about in Hong Kong. #7 Super Winner will look the winner at some stage. He could take catching.
