Race 1: Mr Award Handicap

#12 Star Of Red looks to have found a bit of form. He caught the eye for third last start and any improvement from that run holds him in good stead here. Strong chance to finally get on the board. #5 Good Beauty draws awkwardly but knows how to finish off. He mixes his form but does remain a threat in Class 5. #6 Moon Peaks is suited in this grade. He was narrowly touched off last start and is expected to figure once more. #2 Happy Time can bounce back. Forgive his latest effort.

Race 2: Miraculous Handicap

#12 Multiple Star has mixed his form so far but at times, has shown plenty of ability. Expect the light weight helps and it wouldn't surprise to see him turn his form around here as he has done previously. #5 Hearty Wish is doing plenty right. He's on the slight improve and bears close watching for Lyle Hewitson. #9 Winwin Thirtythree narrowly missed two runs back. He'll get every opportunity under Joao Moreira. #4 Mission Smart Should roll forward and make his own luck. Next best.

Race 3: Big Profit Handicap

#8 Over The Moon is making rapid strides with regards to his improvement. He can take another step forward here and a first win looks very, very close for Joao Moreira and Caspar Fownes. #7 Mighty Star is better than his debut seventh suggests. He can make an impression here if he takes closer order throughout. #5 Indigenous Realm gets every opportunity to go back-to-back. He's on the up now and he just needs to offset the tricky gate. #1 Happy Daily gets his chance. Don't discount, even with top-weight assigned.

Race 4: Victory Marvel Handicap

#1 Beauty Tycoon has both the experience and form to be winning now. He's on the rise and has his opportunity here as clearly the best horse in the race. #5 Ching makes his debut. He's a big threat here and should be decent each way odds on paper. Back him accordingly off the back of a strong trial effort on the dirt. #14 Theta Hedge has no weight on his back and this could prove decisive in the finish. He's found his feet now and a win is very, very close. #12 All Is Ready mixes his form but has some ability.

Race 5: Solar Hei Hei Handicap

#10 Hyperion Tree should roll forward and lead this one. He can prove tough to catch – as he showed last start – and this contest looks like his to lose. #3 Born On The Same Day is on the steady improve. He can take another step forward here and with that really contest for the win. #12 Chater Pins has mixed his form all term but has done very well without winning. That could change here though under Joao Moreira. #1 Darci Joy has claims. He's next best for the in-form Ricky Yiu.

Race 6: Medic Kingdom Handicap

#13 Hang's Decision will run his final race this weekend before retiring but his recent form wouldn't suggest that he is getting on in age at all. He's racing well and with a race run to suit his closing speed, he can steamroll this bunch for a fairytale win. #6 Seatosky was sound on debut. He can take another step forward here and his trial – prior to his debut – showed plenty of early toe. #2 Amazing Victory is racing well at the minute without winning. He just needs a bit of luck to be a big threat here. #7 All Is Good is consistent. Solid chance.

Race 7: All You Wish Handicap

#13 Beauty Mission draws well and looks the one to beat off his form this term. He's unlucky not to already be a winner but a few favours here have him in pole position to break through. #11 Never Too Soon mixes his form but is doing well so far. Zac Purton hops up here and he should get every opportunity. #2 Kilindini has mixed his form but looks to have found a winnable rating. The wide gate hurts but his acclimatisation period looks nearly over. #3 Super Dynamite is consistent enough. Next best.

Race 8: Hong Kong Racehorse Owners Association Trophy Handicap

#7 Turin Redsun is so, so close to a first win in Hong Kong. He's done everything right so far except win and, he gets one of his best chances here to do so for Zac Purton. The gate, weight and distance suit. #2 Champion's Way is nothing short of consistent. He doesn't know how to run a bad race and with even luck he should be fighting out the finish. #3 Excellent Proposal has been a touch disappointing this season. Still, his best has claims, that is, if he can muster it up here. #9 Money Catcher is close to a first win.

Race 9: Pingwu Spark Handicap

#11 Global Harmony would have bolted up with any ounce of luck in the straight last start. Let's say he gets that here and if so, then this is his race to lose. Strong booking of Zac Purton has him very, very favoured. #14 War Weapon is a solid each way chance. He's worth backing accordingly, especially if he gets a fast tempo. #13 Lucky Eight is chasing back-to-back wins. He won with authority on debut and it does appear as though his setbacks are a thing of the past. #2 Excellent Daddy should get luck and the opportunity. He was a strong winner last start for Derek Leung.

Race 10: Joy And Fun Handicap

#6 Lucky Sweynesse is full of class and he gets every chance to nail a fifth win at his sixth start in Hong Kong. He's on the rapid rise and only needs to negate the wide gate to be a winning chance here. #3 Voyage Warrior has found his mark. He ran well last start and should be able to snag a win soon, if not this weekend. #8 Be Ready is chasing back-to-back wins. The inside gate suits but the class-rise will bring him back. Still, he's in form and very fit. #1 Trillion Win just needs to offset the wide gate. Don't discount.

Race 11: Sight Winner Handicap

#7 Powerful Wings is so, so close to a first win in Hong Kong and he appears more than capable of getting it this weekend. He's a classy son of Kingman who can atone for his narrow miss last start. #5 Tuchel is looking to recapture his winning groove. Suspect the yielding ground brought him undone last start and a return to a firm surface holds him in good stead, especially with Zac Purton engaged. #9 Storm Legend is racing well and should be very competitive here. #4 Secret Vision chases back-to-back wins. Next best.
