DUBAI HONOUR (GB)

Cantered on the turf track.

"We just had a nice, quiet canter on the grass just so he could get out there and see what it was like. He feels great," said Issy Paul, track rider and assistant to trainer William Haggas.

PROGNOSIS (JPN)

800m in 53.4s, last 400m 22.9s on the turf track, ridden by the assistant trainer Yasunari Kiyoyama.

Kiyoyama said: "He is in very good form. He has done his gallop which I exactly wanted him to do today. He did almost all that he needed before he left Japan, so I wanted to confirm the ground condition of the turf here and his footwork when he galloped. He is doing great and everything has gone smoothly."

HISHI IGUAZU (JPN)

Cantered one lap on the turf track under his regular exercise rider Tomohiro Takahashi.

Takahashi said, "The humidity and the hot weather affects his freshness, but his condition is getting better."

NORTH BRIDGE (JPN)

Cantered on the turf track.

His handler Takeshi Okumura said, "He worked nicely and was in good balance this morning. I think he is feeling better than yesterday."

FWD Champions Mile

BRAVE EMPEROR (GB)

Cantered on the all weather track.

"He just did a basic canter, steady away, then I just let him go on a bit to stretch his legs. I'm very happy," said work rider Louis Wicks.

CHAMPAGNE COLOR (JPN)

1200m in 1.25.9s, last 400m 23.7s on the turf, under assistant trainer Norihisa Hamanoya.

"I did not ask him to do too much today, but he is getting fit and tuning up without any issue," Hamanoya said.

ELTON BAROWS (JPN)

800m in 55.2s, last 400m 23.4s on the turf track under jockey Atsuya Nishimura.

"I asked my horse to be a bit stronger towards the end of the gallop. He looked happy and I have no concern about his condition going into the race," Nishimura said.

OBAMBURUMAI (JPN)

Cantered on the turf track, under assistant trainer Kazuhiro Yamada.

Trainer Keiji Yoshimura, who arrived in Hong Kong yesterday, was at Sha Tin to supervise his horse and said: "There was not much time between the Doncaster Mile and this race but he's a good traveller. In the Doncaster Mile, the rain affected track condition was one of the factors that he was not able to run his race, but the other thing was he was trapped behind horses when he wanted to make ground."

Chairman's Sprint Prize

MAD COOL (JPN)

800m in 1.01.0s, last 400m 27.0s on the turf track, under jockey Atsuya Nishimura.

"It was my first ride on him. He moved very comfortably and looks great in form," Nishimura said.

SUNRISE RONALDO (JPN)

800m in 59.5s, last 400m 27.8s on the turf track, under work rider Keiichiro Yasuda.

"With two other compatriots, I was able to do what I wanted him to do in terms of speed and the amount of work that he needed today. We will focus on keeping his good condition until the big event," Yasuda said.
