Purton rode at Chukyo racetrack on both Saturday and Sunday where he came away with three winners over the two programs.

The Hong Kong Jockey Premiership winner opened his account with Satono Alladin in the Chausuyamakogen Tokubetsu (2000m, AUD$203313.13) before riding Flame Code to victory in the final event of the program.

With just five rides, Purton recorded two wins and as many minor placings.

The following day, Purton rode one winner, King Song, in a 3YO+ event over 1200m.

Purton’s short term license to ride in Japan commenced on July 12 and goes through until August 17.

His immediate success comes as no surprise with the jockey well regarded in Japan after claiming the 2012 World Super Jockey Series at Tokyo.

Leading Australian hoop Nash Rawiller rode at Hakodate over the weekend where he had three rides.

Rawiller posted his first win at the track the weekend prior.

Below are replays of Purton's two winners at Chukyo on Saturday.
