Seoul Race 1: Class 4 (1000M) Special Weight A / KRW 75 Million

Imported juveniles (and one southern hemisphere three-year-old) here. The most experienced, with three starts to her name already, is (3) UWARYUNG. She hasn't finished outside the top four and has run consistently good times. From a good draw, in this company she should be on or close to the speed and she can make the breakthrough here. (10) OHRA KHAN beat a couple of these on his way to 3rd place over 1200M on debut when starting slowly but running on well. He should have derived benefit from that experience and can match or better today. (1) WHIZ RUNNER was 6th in that race on what was his debut too. He rana fast time at this distance in his trial and can improve today. There are four first-time starters and of them, (9) VELOX BOY and (6) TRAUM QUEEN look the most likely to make an immediate impact.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 40 Million

Juvenile maidens with all tackling the 1300M for the first time. (1) YEONGWON GIANT was a much-improved 2nd at start number three on September 16th over 1200M when he raced further forward than he had done previously and finished off well. He beat several of today's rivals in the proves and from a great draw, he can go one better today. (4) LUCKY PARTY was 4th in that race having been sent off as favourite following a strong 3rd place on debut. He'll be on pace again here and can be given another chance. (9) PURGE KING came home in 3rd place on September 16th. That continued the steady progress that he has made since his debut, and he is another who should be in with a shout. As for those who didn't go in the September 16th race, (6) SEOUL CHOEGANGJA looks the best. He comes in off a solid 3rd place in a good time at 1200M a month ago and Moon Se-young climbing on will tempt plenty. Newcomer (3) NAEGILUIKING another to keep an eye on.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 40 Million

More juvenile maidens. (2) EUNPA SARANG has a 3rd and two 5th place finishes from three starts to date and has posted a couple of very good times. He has got a bit far back in his races so far but he finishes off very well and if he is in striking distance at the top of the straight, he could be the one to beat. He will need to get past (4) CHEONHAENGCHAT. She has a 2nd and a 3rd on her record, both times racing on pace. She draws well to get forward here and should be in this a very long way. There are a couple of first-time starters and (6) RUBY PORT looked good in her trial, leading almost the entire way around and crossing the line a close 2nd. She can go well first up. (9) OSONGEUI BYEOL and (7) DONGJIN TEUKGEUP are potential improvers.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 40 Million

Juvenile maidens and (4) FLYING KHAN will begin as hot favourite. After a good trial, he overcame gate ten on debut to run 3rd over this distance in a quick time. He comes into a much better gate today and should get an easier run to the front. He will take some beating. (1) AUTUMN BREEZE was an improved 3rd at 1300M on September 17th, racing handy throughout. From the inside gate, she should be close to the pace here and can be competitive again. (2) ARA NURI made good progress on her second start, finishing 3rd over this distance in a good time. She can settle just behind the leaders here and finish strongly. (11) DOCTOR CAPTAIN looks to be on the right trajectory too and along with first time starter (7) HARVEST MOON, is another to consider for the places.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(3) GOLDEN DRAGON remains a maiden after three starts but comes up in class here having secured back-to-back runner-up finishes over 1200M, both in quick times. He comes down 2kg in the weights, and from a good draw, he can make the breakthrough here. (1) MUNHAK CENTRAL got her maiden win at the seventh time of asking over 1200M on September 16th when she made all. She too comes up in class and while she only gets a 1kg weight drop, she draws well and can measure up in this company. (7) MY CENTER has placed at this class and distance and also ran a fair 6th in the Rookie Stakes at the end of August. He has consistently run good times and he should be in the mix again here. (5) DAONDI was very close 2nd to Munhak Central last time and accordingly joins her up in class with every chance of being competitive. (10) BEST CLONE another in the hunt.

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

(6) YEONGGWANGUITOUCH has been knocking on the door for a while and comes in off three solid efforts including his latest on October 6th when a close 3rd over 1200M. He has posted a decent time at this distance too and he can settle midfield and run on with as much chance as any. It's a competitive race though. (2) RAON STRONG raced three times in the early spring, improving with each effort. He hasn't been seen since March, but he looked very well in a September trial, and from a good gate can go well first-up. (4) LUCKY BAND beat a couple of these on his way to a solid 3rd place over 1400M on September 17th. That continued a positive start to his career, and he should be a major player here. (11) STORMY DAY and (9) WHITE FACLON among others with placing hopes.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(11) RAON THE TAP will be the favourite here. Having run 3rd on debut in July, he then ran out a good winner at start number two at the end of August. He comes in fresh after eight weeks off and while up in class and in distance, he could well have too much here. (1) JECHUK IHO finished 2nd behind Raon The Tap in August and has already had a go at this level, running 4th over this distance on September 23rd. He should go close here. (9) SINUI YEOJE is up in class and distance after a good win over 1000M on September 2nd when on pace throughout. She should be on the speed again here and in this limited company, can measure up. (2) LEMON BLADE was very disappointing last time out but on previous form is worth another chance, while (3) MUNHAK EAGLE is another who can compete for the minors.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Fillies (and one mare) here. (7) DOCTOR RICH ran 2nd in her first two starts to get promoted to this level before running a strong 3rd on his first try at class 5 on September 15th, having led for much of the way around. She should be on pace again here and today can be her day. (1) HAERANG ISEUL is similarly a maiden, in her case following five attempts and plenty of near misses. She was slow away on her first try at this level last month but from a good draw, is worth another chance here. (11) AMUR has won and enters off back-to-back runner-up finishes over 1200M at this level in quick times. She likes to settle midfield and the wide draw shouldn't be too much of a problem. (6) QUEEN AND SERVE comes up in class after a maiden win at this distance on September 17th and can measure up. (8) TOO CUTE GIRL another to keep safe.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(10) DOKKI DRAGON got his maiden win at start number two on September 16th when on pace throughout and stopping the clock in a quick time over 1200M. He has a wide gate to navigate but he has plenty of early speed and if he can get to the front, he will take some passing. (9) SILVER PURGE is yet to win in five attempts, but she has a runner-up finish to her name at this class and distance. She raced on pace last time out before finishing in 4th place and comes in here fresh following ten weeks off. She can be close. (2) MAPARAM enters off back-to-back runner-up finishes at this class over 1200M and from a much better draw today, can be in the mix. (3) MAESTRO and (11) NAEGILUI BYEOL others to keep safe.

Busan Race 4: Class 5 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Tricky race but we will side with (8) TOP FRIEND to get his maiden win at what will be start number fourteen. He has plenty of experience at this level and comes in following a very close 4th over this distance on September 8th. In this company he can be close to the pace, and it can be his day. If he does find one too quick again, it may be (9) SANGSANGGEUISANG. He was very narrowly beaten into 2nd place over 1400M at this class on September 3rd having settled right back and then run on. He may be ready for another crack at a mile. (1) FANTASTIC TIME will need to be forgiven her latest two, but she has placed at this class and may appreciate the step up in trip today. (4) USEUNGMUPAE and (5) MAGIC SWEETIE are others in at least the placing frame.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(5) ZETTA MASTER comes up rapidly in class having won his latest two, both over 1400M and both in emphatic style. He also comes up to a mile for the first time, but he should be equal to the challenge and from a good draw could potentially lead all the way. The main danger is (8) MOONHAK AFLEET. He was a class and distance winner two starts back before stepping up to 1800M for his most recent outing and finishing a good 3rd in a slowly run race. He carries a full5.5kg more than the mark at which he won under in July, but he can be taken seriously here again. (1) GEUMSEONG SEGYE weakened badly in the final furlong having led on his first try at this class over 1800M on September 24th. The step back to a mile can suit and the draw is very good. (3) BLUE INDY and (6) FLYING LIGHT, both up in class, are others who can measure up.

Busan Race 5: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(7) WIND WINNER will be a warm favourite here. He comes in having scored at class and distance on August 11th and while he comes up 2.5kg in the weights and off a ten-week layoff, he can win again here. (8) SOLEDAD won over this distance at class 5 level two starts back, making all. She then ran a fair 5th on her first try at this class on September 22nd and can go close today. (9) HAVE A GOOD DAY enters off a 5th at a mile and 3rd at 1400M from his latest two, both times coming from off the pace. He is yet to finish any better than 3rd but comes up to two turns for the first time and should be competitive. (11) ROAD TO GLORY and (1) DAEHO NURI are others in contention for the minors.

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(3) FINE CAMP has five top-four finishes from her last five starts, most recently running 3rd over 1200m on her first try at this class on September 17th. She comes up to 1400M for the first time but her running style suggests the extended trip can suit, and she can win here. (4) E-DANAEUN was rapidly promoted to this class and has proven competitive in four attempts at it with his best being a runner-up finish over this distance two starts back. He is another who likes to settle off the pace and run on and he can be a big danger. Those two are the standouts although (11) FLY DAY raced fairly for 5th on his first try at this level and has a strong finish on him. (10) FALL IN LOVE races for the first time since finishing last in the Korean Oaks in June. She looked well when winning a trial earlier this month and can be considered first-up. (2) POWERFUL SOCKS another in the placing frame.

Busan Race 6: Class 2 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

Several of these raced each other at this class over 1200M on September 17th and it was (9) HALLOWEEN PARTY who came out on top, winning for the fourth time in a row. He comes up in trip and also 2.5kg in the weights, although the same apprentice who won on him last time keeps it at a manageable level, and he could make it a remarkable five here. (1) ILBEONJI was overmatched at Group level in Seoul last month, but she was a class and distance winner as recently as August and shapes as a danger here. (3) WINNING DANCER was 2nd on the September 17th race, continuing a consistent run of form, and the extra furlong can give him a chance of overturning that form today. (11) GREAT CAPTAIN and (2) HWARANG BEST are among plenty of others with at least placing claims.

Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(8) GEUMBITMA won three races in a row between June and August before running 2nd at this class over 1400M on September 17th. He likes to settle midfield and run on, and he can return to the winner's circle here. (7) BLACK CHOCOLATE has won two in a row since coming back from a four-month absence. That brings him up in class here, but he is down in the weights and has every chance of measuring up. (10) SAENAE QUEEN enters off an excellent 2nd place in a valuable trophy race over this distance on international weekend last month when she led for much of the way around. She draws a touch wider than ideal, but she can be going close. The up in class (2) YUJEONG CHAMP along with (6) COMPLETE ANGEL are among plenty of others with placing chances.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(7) CONCORDE SPURT has won his latest two races, both around two-turns and most recently at this class and distance on September 16th when he made all. He comes up a full 3.5kg in the weights here but won under similar at class 4 level and don't rule out a repeat today. (4) MUNHAK TAPIT ran 2nd in that September 16th race, not much in arrears. That continues a solid run of form, and he gets a 3kg swing in the weights this time. (6) MIGHTY GOOD was never a factor in a Listed race last month but returns to shallower waters today and while he carries his fair share of weight, he should be competitive. (3) WONDERFUL INDY and (9) LUCKY HOON among others who are more than capable at this level.

Seoul Race 11: Class 1 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 110 Million

(3) COBRA BALL returned to the winner's circle with a smart effort over a mile on September 16th when on pace throughout. He has been beaten by a few of these in recent outings but not at 1400M, and he comes in here well drawn and under a light weight. He will dispute favourite status with (7) JANGSAN CLEAR. He beat several of these when narrowly winning a super quick race over 1200M back on August 13th. He comes in fresh after two months off and is another who is nicely weighted. (8) YONGAM BOSS enters class 1 company for the first time, but he was 2nd in a valuable listed race on September 17th over 1800M. He comes back in trip but should be competitive. (2) VICTOR MOON and (6) LEGEND DAY among plenty of others in contention in hat should be an entertaining finale.
