Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 60 Million

Juvenile maidens in the opener with five of the eleven racing for the first time. We'll side with experience though and (7) PUNGUNJIMA, who after a promising trial, ran 2nd on debut over 1000M on September 23rd.  He stopped the clock in a good time and with some natural improvement can be the one to beat here. (3) BLACK BELT dead-heated for 3rd on debut over 1000M. That was back in July so he comes in fresh after sixteen weeks off and can be a contender here. (6) GOLDBERG ran 3rd behind Pungunjima on debut last month having led for much of the way around. She'll be on pace again and can be in this a long way. (2) VICAR NAREUMA and trial winner (4) GEUMAK DIA are others in the hunt. 

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 60 Million

More juvenile maidens, this time with six of the twelve making their racecourse debuts. Again, we will side with experience and there are two standouts. (7) GIANT FORCE debuted over this distance on September 10th and ran well, racing handy and finishing 4th in a decent time. She won't need to improve much on that to go close here. (3) CUPID MIR was also 4th on his debut. That came over 1000M on September 2nd when he settled back and ran on very nicely. The step up in trip should suit and he can be a big danger. (11) KNIGHT CHARM has raced twice already, positing a 5th and a 4th and should go close again. (9) SAMAEBEONJJEOK and newcomer (10) MYEONGSEONG CHUKJE are others to keep safe.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 40 Million

Maiden juvenile fillies here. (8) CHADOL DIA has raced twice for a 2nd and a 3rd at 1000M and 1200M. She has been on pace both times and should do the same again here and she has an excellent chance to make the breakthrough. (3) SEIRENE did nothing on debut but has run well for 2nd and 3rd in two starts since, both at this distance. She draws nicely to settle just behind the speed and run on here and the presence of Moon Se-young may mean that she starts as the betting favourite. The form falls away significantly after those two but (6) HAMPYEONG JANGMI has hinted at ability across four starts so far and is a possible pacesetter. (5) JERAQUEEN and (9) STAR CHANGER are others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 4: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

A very modest maiden and (10) MENI SHARK will be favourite. We'll need to draw a line through her latest over this distance on October 9th when having been prominent throughout, she weakened late, but her form prior to that was superior to anything else here and she can be given another chance. (9) MACH YEOJE improved significantly to run 4th at start number two on September 24th, settling back and running on. A similar effort will see her in the finish here. It would be a surprise if those two don't fill out the quinella, but (5) TAENGGEURI hinted at improvement on his latest outing. He tends to get a bit far back in his races, but he should pass plenty late here. (7) GEOMOON and (11) TES JOY others in the minor money hunt.

Seoul Race 5: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

Maiden fillies here. (3) HEART SIGNAL has shown signs of figuring things out in her latest three and comes in off a close 2nd over 1400M on September 17th when she settled midfield and finished off well. She draws nicely here and will be favourite to go one better. (6) CATS WOMAN comes in off her best finish to date when 2nd over 1400M on September 3rd. She is another who likes to settle back and run on, and she can run into some money again. (10) CHALLA JILJU has made two starts separated but nine months and while she didn't do much in wither, she has trialled promisingly, and she should strip fitter for her September outing. (5) JEONGSANG HIT and (9) ZEROBAEKFOUR are others in the placing frame.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(9) FUN CRAZY enters with recent form reading well and comes in off a runner-up finish over a mile on September 17th when settling handy and running on. He has run fairly over this trip in the past and while he comes up 2kg in the weights, he looks to be the one to beat. (6) BOSS BABY is yet to win in nineteen attempts but ran on well for 3rd over 1400M last time out and under a light weight, could figure here. (1) GEUMA STEADY was well back behind Fun Crazy last time out but prior to that ran a good 2nd at class and distance and on that form should be considered here. (8) SMART BLUE mixes her form but has plenty of experience at the level and could be ready for another crack at two-turns. (7) GREEN FEELSTAR another in the frame.

Seoul Race 7: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(2) COMPLETE LEADER is yet to win in six attempts but has missed the top-three on only one occasion and enters off three consecutive 3rd place finishes at this class and distance. He is drawn nicely here to settle just behind the speed, and he should make the breakthrough this time. (6) AREUMDAUN SAI has two 4th places and a 2nd in three attempts at this class since getting her maiden win over 1300M in June. Tactically versatile, she has a strong finish and should be challenging late today. (1) EFFEL TAP comes up in class following a maiden win over this distance on September 10th. From a good draw, he should be on pace and can measure up in this company. (8) GLOBAL JINGYEOK and (9) ACE TIARA others in the frame. 

Seoul Race 8: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(8) RAON TIMOTH led every step of the way to run out a dominant winner on debut over 1000M on September 17th. He comes up in class and in trip here, but the manner of that victory suggests there is more to come, and he should make it two from two today. (7) LUCKY BOUNCE has placed in each of his latest three, all at this class and distance. He carries his fair share of weight here but should go close again. (3) AGAPANTHUS was a winner at class and distance back in July. He races for the first time since running 4th behind Lucky Bounce in August and can be competitive here. (1) PURPLE WINK, and the up in class but down in weight (5) SSING SSING SSING are among others who can be competitive.

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(5) HERO SARANG comes in having won her latest two in fine fashion, most recently at this class and distance on September 17th when on pace throughout. She only comes up 1.5kg in the weights, draws well to be on or close to the pace again, and she can make it three in a row here. (3) COMPLETE FORCE was an all the way class and distance winner last time out. That was back in July so he comes in here following fourteen weeks out but while he is up 4kg in the weights, he draws well and can go close again. (2) NAOL YEONGUNG has been doing plenty of going close in two starts since returning from five months off. He has a 2nd and a 3rd in two starts this preparation both times from on the pace and he should be in the mix again. (10) RAON THE WEEKEND and (7) HWANGGEUMKKOT others to keep safe.

Seoul Race 10: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(10) MONEY CROWN came from off the pace to win on debut over 1200M on September 23rd. He should have come on for that run, the additional furlong can suit, and he can maintain his 100% record here. (1) CHEONDUNG HORANGI ran 2nd on debut over 1000M before getting his maiden win in a quick race over 1200M on in August. He comes up in the weights, but his running style so far suggests that the additional furlong should suit, and he is the big danger. (9) MENI WONDERFUL is much more experienced and has won over this distance. He should be on pace in this company and can be in this a long way. (7) ACE GUNJU and (6) GREEN POKJU are other contenders for the minor placings.

Seoul Race 11: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

Three wins to begin his three-year-old campaign saw (2) UPTOWN WHIZ be given a shot in the Minister's Cup, the final leg of the Triple Crown in July. He finished well down the field, but he returned to shallower waters at the start of September and ran 3rd at this class and distance having led for most of the way around. He carries the same light weight today, draws well to lead again, and this time can go all the way. (9) MAGIC GRACE comes in off a solid 2nd place at class and distance on August 18th when leading for much of the way. She can join Uptown Whiz on pace here and should be in this a long way. (1) KING ACE comes up in class having come from midfield to win over 1700M a month ago. He comes down in the weights and can be competitive. (11) QUCIKLY RUN and (7) A.P. PATEK among others to consider.
