Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 40 Million

Juvenile maidens in the opener. After winning a late August trial, (6) WORLD DRAGON debuted over 1200M on October 8th and beat three of today's rivals when a front-running 3rd in a decent time. He should have come on for the run, he'll be on pace again, and he can win. Debut-maker (5) VALHALLA led all the way in his trial, stopping the clock in a good time. It was only last Saturday so as long as he didn't leave his race there, he can go well first-up. (4) BINNANEUNGIL has two 4th places and a 2nd in three outings to date. Last time out he led over 1400M before fading late and he should be in the mix here. (8) SUCCESS BAEKPA was 4th behind World Dragon in that October 8th race and can get close again. (3) BROWN FALCON another seemingly on the right trajectory.

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

Standard maiden here. (5) STRIKE ZONE has a 4th, a 3rd, and a 2nd from three starts so far with that latter being his most recent on October 27th when on pace throughout before going down to a good winner. He comes up to 1300M for the first time, he should be on pace again, and he can go one better again. (7) MOST RAPID led for the first tie on October 13th over 1400M, ultimately staying on for 2nd. He ran 5th on a previous try at this distance and should be in the mix today. (1) DOCTOR CAPTAIN overcame gate eleven to run a fair 5th in a decent time at 1200M three weeks ago. He draws much better today, and a similar run can see him in the finish this time. (8) DORAON ZETTA and (9) GEUMSON CLASS others in the minor money hunt.

Busan Race 3: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

Juvenile maiden fillies. (7) ALICE MARINE has shown signs of figuring things out in her latest two with a 3rd and a 4th, both at this distance in both in fair times having been ridden forward. She'll be on or close to the pace here, Seo Seung-un climbs on, and she has as good a chance as any. The main danger is (5) ROAD STAR. Another front-runner, she has posted consistent times at 1000M and then at 1200M. She'll be competing for the lead from the start and will be in this a long way. (6) SMART SMILE was a much-improved 3rd at start number two on over this distance on October 20th when settling back and running on and she can build on that here. (10) PERFECT WINNER and (9) CHOEGANG WEEK among others in the hunt.

Busan Race 4: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

(6) WONDERFUL IMPACT has finished between 3rd and 5th on no fewer than six occasions from ten starts including her last start 4th over this distance when settling just behind the speed and finishing off well. Antonio Da Silva, in town to ride in Sunday's Group race, is aboard and in this company, she can win. She'll be favourite, ahead of (3) DAEHO PREDATOR, who despite only just scarping through a qualifying trial debuted well in late September, settling back and running on for 5th over this trip. He should have benefitted from the experience and can get closer this time. (1) CHEONSU SIDAE pulled out a career best 4th last time out at big odds and coming from well off the pace and beating a couple of these. An apprentice keeps the weight down and a repeat or better isn't impossible. (5) MIRACULUM and (4) AQUARIUS others in the placing frame.

Busan Race 5: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Competitive race. (3) BABEL HEART has won at this class, over 1300M four starts back and comes in off a useful 4th place over a mile on October 13th with a couple of today's rivals behind her. She has run well at this trip as well and she can win here. (11) HERO J is without a win in six attempts but has four top-three finishes including last time out at this class over 1200M when slow away and settling right back. The step up to 1400M can suit, the wide draw shouldn't be an issue, and he has every chance. (2) BORIS MARINE is also winless although was beaten by a good one in his second runner-up finish at class 6 level. Draw a line through his first effort at this class and distance at the end of September and he can be in the hunt here. (1) THEIA returned to some semblance of form last time and along with (7) NALA is another to keep safe.

Busan Race 6: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Filles (and two mares) only here. (3) POCKET MILLION comes in off a maiden win last time out when leading every step of the way and scoring by as many lengths as she pleased. She comes up in class here, but the manner of that win suggests there is more to come and in filly and mare company, she will take some beating. (2) MASARANGGIL enters off a smart 3rd place at class and distance on October 13th when settling midfield and running on. She comes in under a similar weight, she draws nicely, and she can go close. (5) PERFECT ACTION comes up in class having won over 1200M on October 13th when handy and running on. The juvenile looks to have potential and can measure up in this company. (6) B.K ZENA and (8) PHANTOM QUEEN others in the frame.

Busan Race 7: Class 5 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(3) GOOD DADDY will be a warm favourite here. After a slow start but strong finish on debut, he came out second-up on October 8th and won over a mile, settling midfield and running on. He comes up in class here but is down in the weights, and the extended trip can suit. (10) DOCTOR LEO is a stablemate of Good Daddy and also comes up in class having secured two runner-up finishes from his first three starts. He hasn't gone further than 1400M so far, but he has finished off his races well and he looks an intriguing prospect here. (11) CORNER ONE broke through two starts back at 1400M before struggling on his first attempt at this class on October 6th. He looks to have plenty of potential and is worth another chance here (5) SHINE MONSTER and (2) WITH STAR among others to be considered.

Busan Race 8: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(6) BOBBY SPARROW is a lightly raced five-year-old who got his maiden win at the seventh time of asking on October 13th, coming off the pace over 1400M to win well. He comes up 2.5kg in the weights here but his running style suggests that the extended trip can suit, and he can win again. (11) GREAT ONE was a class and distance winner at the start of September and followed up with a 3rd and a 4th over 1800M. He has the challenge of the widest gate here, but he can settle back and run on and should be a danger. (9) YEOSU TORNADO comes up in class following a win over this trip on October 13th when on pace throughout. He stays under a light weight and can measure up in this company (5) WONDERFUL BOBCAT and (4) NAMED Others in the placing frame.

Busan Race 9: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(8) LUCKIEST GIRL hasn't quite been able to replicate the dominant win she pulled off at start number two back in July, but she has nevertheless run well in two starts at this class, registering a 2nd place at this distance in August, followed by a 4th over a mile a month ago. She is lightly weighted and can be on pace or handy here and she should return to the winner's circle.  (6) TRIUMPH CAT won three consecutive races between June and early August over a mile and 1800M. He hasn't raced since but looked well in a quick trial in September and while up in the weights, he should be competitive here. (10) MENIFEE SONG is unspectacular but rarely runs a bad race and could provide some interest at a probable each-way price. (7) PEOPLE POWER and the returning (1) HANEUL JILJU other place chances.
