Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 40 Million

Picture: Korea Racing Authority

Juvenile maiden fillies with six of the twelve racing for the first time. Plenty will be tempted by first-timer (9) CROWN HAMSEONG. She won a trial just last week when sitting handy throughout and finishing off well. She makes a fast debut here, but Moon Se-young is up and there isn't too much to fear in this field. (10) HIT FLY ran 4th on debut back in September m showing at the front and stopping the clock in a quick time. She won't need to improve much on that to be in the finish today. (5) QUERER ran 2nd over 1000M on October 21st, sitting handy before running on and she too should have come on for that run. (12) HOMYEONG QUEEN and (11) RUBY PORT are others who hinted at ability on their respective debuts.

Selections (9) Crown Hamseong (10) Hit Fly (5) Querer (12) Homyeong Queen

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

(1) NAEGILUI WINNER is the one to beat here. He comes in off a last start 3rd place over this distance on October 15th when settling midfield and running on. He has proven able to race on pace as well when 2nd on debut and from a good draw, he can get an easy run to the lead and potentially make all. (5) PLAN B comes in having run 2nd and 3rd in her latest two both over this distance and most recently as beaten favourite on November 11th when well positioned but not kicking on. She looks nicely in again in this company and can get closer today. (3) FIRST CHOUX is yet to finish in the top two, but he has the fastest time of any of these for the distance and from a good draw can be a factor. (6) HANGANG GLORY and the solitary debut-maker (2) URUS KHAN are others to consider on a place line.

Selections (1) Naegilui Winner (5) Plan B (3) First Choux (6) Hangang GLory

Seoul Race 3: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(9) RAON THE COBRA shapes as a warm favourite here. His sole win to date came over this distance back in May and after a couple of 5th place finishes, he enters off a 3rd at his class and distance on October 29th when he raced on pace throughout and had a couple of today's rivals back down the track behind him. In this company he should be on the early speed, and he may take some beating. Second favourite will be (2) PURPLE WINK. He comes in off a somewhat plain effort over 1200M on October 28th when 6th of ten but he has placed at this class and from a good draw, can be given another chance today. (11) ARGO MUJEOK is another who will need a line drawn through his latest. He does have plenty of experience at this level though and has the joint fastest time among these for the trip. (7) BARO CHAMPION is up in class following a win over 1200M on October 21st, and along with (10) BANFF, also up in class, is another place chance.

Selections (9) Raon The Cobra (2) Purple Wink (11) Argo Mujeok (7) Baro Champion

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(11) KOREA GOLD ran out an emphatic winner on debut over 1200M on November 4th, coming from off the pace and finishing very pleasingly. The overall time wasn't quick, although the final furlong was, and while he comes up in class and in trip today, neither should be a major issue and he can win again. The main danger – and probable favourite – is (9) AREUMDAUN SAI. He may have only won once in eighteen attempts, but he comes in having run 2nd in his latest two, both at this class and distance and both times having raced close to the speed. He will surely be close again here. (5) SAENAE KHAN mixes his form, but he placed at this class over 1300M two starts back and having drawn well to get a forward position, should be a factor in the finish. (1) VELVETY and (3) NAOL SKY among other place chances.

Selections (11) Korea Gold (9) Areumdaun Sai (5) Saenae Khan (1) Velvety

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1200M) handicap / KRW 40 Million

After a couple of shaky efforts on her first tries at this class, (7) MUNHAK EAGLE looks to be coming back into form with a good 2nd place at class and distance on October 22nd when prominent throughout. She has the fastest time among these for the 1200M and in this company can sit just behind the speed and prove too strong. (8) RAON THE TAP used up plenty of energy in that October 22nd race to get to the lead from gate eleven, ultimately weakening and finishing midfield. That was only his third start and his first at 1200M and he should have benefitted from the experience. He stays lightly weighted, comes into a slightly better gate, and he should have a better time of it today. Both will need to overturn the form on (1) BICHUICA, who won that October 22nd race at odds in excess of 90/1. He comes up a full 3.5kg in the weights but warrants more respect here. (10) FIJI BLADE and (2) BEST CLONE among others to consider for the places.

Selections (7) Munhak Eagle (8) Raon The Tap (1) Bichuica (10) Fiji Blade

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(1) COMPLETE FORCE was a runaway winner at class and distance two starts back, leading all the way and stopping the clock in a very quick time. He couldn't repeat on October 28th, but this looks to be softer opposition and from the inside gate he can get an easy run to the lead and should prove hard to dislodge. The opposition isn't strong. (5) CAPTAIN SAMCHIRI out in an improved performance on November 4th when leading and for the first time staying on and coming home in 4th place in a decent time. A similar run here will have him in the finish. (9) VICTORY HIT is one of several who will need their latest starts overlooked. Instead go on her 2nd place in a quick time two starts back and she will be in the hunt. (8) BYEOLNARA BIMA and (3) GREEN SHIELD others who can improve on recent outings.

Selections (1) Complete Force (5) Captain Samchiri (9) Victory Hit (8) Byeolnara Bima

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(2) BEOLGYO TAEYANG is the one to beat here. She has a 4th and a 3rd from two starts so far, both at 1200M and both times racing on pace. She carries a very light weight, she draws very nicely, and the Bee Jersey filly can make her breakthrough here. (11) BAEKDU BOY was a class 5 winner two starts back before running a solid 3rd on his first try at this level on September 9th. He comes in here fresh after eleven weeks out and while he has the challenge of the widest gate, he can go close. (7) POWER GUNJU ran 3rd on debut over 1000M on October 22nd, settling midfield and running on. He should have come on for that run, the additional furlong can suit, and he can match or better that today. (10) LUCKY BOOM ran 4th on debut in the same October 22nd race. He too should have derived benefit from the experience and can build on it here. (8) NAMSAN JUMONG is the other logical placing hope.

Selections (2) Beolgyo Taeyang (11) Baekdu Boy (7) Power Gunju (10) Lucky Boom

Seoul Race 8: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(6) SPURT BIT won his first two starts at class 4 level and has registered a 5th and most recently a 3rd place in two tries at this class, most recently on October 9th when settling back and running on over 1200M. He tackles the 100M for the first time here but there is no reason why it can't suit and the Tiznow juvenile can return to winning ways. (5) ACHIM GISANG was a smart winner at class 4 level two starts back over this distance before finishing 5th of twelve in a strong trophy race, again at 1200M, on international weekend. She has had a couple of months off so comes in fresh, she draws well, and she can go close. (9) RAON THE HIGHMAN ran a close 5th on his first try at this class on October 15th. The margins were tight, and he has won at this distance before. He carries a light weight and can be a danger. (7) POWER VICTORY and (8) M J BEST others to keep safe.

Selections (6) Spurt Bit (5) Achim Gisang (9) Raon The Highman (7) Power Victory

Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(1) S.I. COCO is a winner of four from eight so far and has never finished worse than 5th – and that came in a tough trophy race on international weekend. At his latest start on October 21st, he led over 1600M only to be taken down late, and coming back to 1400M, he should have too much for this field. The main danger is (9) HUNTER BLADE. He comes up in class following a win and a runner-up finish in his latest two. The win was over this distance in a competitive time and coming down a full 5.5kg in the weights should help him to measure up in this company. (6) SMART JEONSA didn't run on until it was too late over 1200M on his latest start. He previously had two 3rd places and a 2nd at this distance though and with the fastest final furlong average time among these by some margin, he can be a late danger here. (10) DAPHNE and (5) MUNHAK STORM other place chances.

Selections (1) S.I. Coco (9) Hunter Blade (6) Smart Jeonsa (10) Daphne
Next Best 5, 8
Fast Start  1, 5, 7, 8

Seoul Race 10: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

One of the more competitive races on the card. (3) FUN CRAZY comes in off back-to-back runner-up finishes at class 5, most recently over this distance on October 28th when handy throughout. While up in class, this isn't the most intimidating of opposition and down 3.5kg in the weights and with Moon Se-young climbing on, he can win here. (2) MONEY GARAK has the fastest time among any of these for the distance and while he can mix his form, he comes in off a strong 4th place over 1300M on October 21st when doing his best work late. He carries his fair share of weight but that is because he is by some margin the highest rated in the field, and he is a danger. (9) BLUE INDY enters off a 4th place over a mile on his first try at this class on October 22nd. He can be expected to be on pace here and can go close. (5) SECRET WANGJA comes up in class having beaten Fun Crazy to win that October 28th race at big odds and could go close again. (1) CURRERECUS another in the frame.

Selections (3) Fun Crazy (2) Money Garak (9) Blue Indy (5) Secret Wangja

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

It's hard to go past (9) NUT PLAY here. He was 4th in the KRA Cup Mile before running 3rd in both the Korean Derby and Minister's Cup and then got his big(ish) race win in the Listed Ilgan Sports Trophy over this distance on September 17th. He comes into regular class 2 company for the first time under a light weight and he should be too good for this lot. (7) LUCKY WORLD comes in having won at class and distance on October 9th when, as is his style, coming from well off the pace. Given the distances he races at, he has quite a remarkable final furlong average time (12.8 over his latest six, which is fast on this sand) and while he comes up 3kg in the weights, he can be a danger. (10) HANGANGUI GISANG returns to action for the fast time since May. 1800M is quite a challenge first-up but he didn't use up much energy in a trial two weeks ago and he has plenty of ability. (3) BYEOLNARA SNSA and (2) THE QUEEN JUSTICE others to consider for the minors.

Selections (9) Nut Play (7) Lucky World (10) Hangangui Gisang (3) Byeolnara Sinsa
