Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 40 Million

Picture: Korea Racing Authority

Maiden juvenile fillies in the opener with nine of the twelve racing for the first time. The experienced few are favoured though. (5) SUMMER PARTY ran well for 3rd place on debut on November 18th in a good time over this distance. She is half-sister to the great Triple Nine, among plenty of other winners, and she can get off the mark here. (8) SHACKLE POINT sat midfield on debut over this distance on November 5th before running into 3rd place in a fair time. Like Summer Party, she should have come on for that run and Moon Se-young's presence aboard may mean she starts as favourite. (9) MISS CONCORD ran 4th on her debut over 1000M. She finished off well and can match or better that today. Among the fist-timers, (11) ALL EYES ON ME and (7) TAP DIA trialled together, coming home 1st and 2nd and they look the pair most likely to make an immediate impact.

Selections (5) Summer Party (8) Shackle Point (9) Miss Concord (11) All Eyes On Me

Seoul Race 2: Class 4 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 75 Million

Imported juveniles here and while four race for the first time, there is a winner already among the others. That's (11) MORNING DAOL who led every step of the way on debut over this distance on November 18th, stopping the clock in a quick time with three of today's rivals back down the track. He comes in under the same weight and while he draws a touch wider than ideal, he should repeat. (4) YEONGUNG BUHWAL was actually sent off favourite for that race having blitzed a September trial. He finished well back, but it the time was fine and what with there having been two months between trial and race, he should strip fitter here.  (10) MAKING STORY came from off the pace to run 3rd in his debut on October 9th. He too should have derived benefit from that and can match or better it here. Among the first timers, (2) FLYING CRUISER won his trial and draws nicely first-up. (8) GLOBAL CLASS also hinted at ability.

Selections (11) Morning Daol (4) Yeongung Buhwal (10) Making Story (2) Flying Cruiser

Seoul Race 3: Class 4 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 75 Million

More imported juveniles, this time with five making their racing debuts. Once more there is a previous winner, and she will be a prohibitive favourite. That's (5) ÉCLAIRFURY who, having won an October trial, debuted over this distance on November 18th and stalked the leader before taking things up in the straight and running away to win well. She won't need to improve much, if at all, to win again. She's hard to oppose but a couple of the newcomers might provide some interest. (12) NICE CHEETAH won her trial leading all the way around and crossing the line comfortably to the good. She has the challenge of the widest gate here but the Bolt D'oro filly looks to have potential So too (10) ROCKY KINGDOM. He came from midfield to run on for 2nd in is trial and 1200M may suit first-up. Returning to the experience, (3) DALKONG and (4) MGHTY SHONE both improved in their respective second starts and can continue to make progress here.

Selections (5) Eclairfury (12) Nice Cheetah (10) Rocky Kingdom (3) Dalkong

Seoul Race 4: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 25 Million

(4) BEOLGYOWISU drew gate twelve on debut over 1200M on November 18th and settled back before racing home well for 4th place. She should have come on for that run, she draws much better here, and she will be strongly savoured to score. (9) STUNNING CHAMP looks the clear second pick. After running 5th over 1000M on debut in October, she improved to 2nd over this distance on November 11th, settling right back and running on. Seo Seung-un, in town to ride Winner's Min in Sunday's Grand Prix, climbs on, and can be a danger here. (8) BEAUTIFUL HWASEONG has been slow away in both starts so far but ran on pleasingly enough for 4th last time out and can be considered for improvement again. (6) SUNGANUI CHANCE and (7) WONDERFUL PASS, who debuted together on November 5th, are others to consider.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

This will probably be the first race of the day where the favourite doesn't start at odds-on. (3) GANGSEO V made all to get his maiden win two starts back over 1300M before running 2nd on his first try at this class and distance on November 12th racing on pace throughout. It wasn't a quick time, but he draws well to be on pace again and once more he should be in this a long way. (10) SATURDAY picked up his solitary win at this distance in August and has been working his way back towards another. His latest effort saw him a close 2nd at class and distance on November 19th when settling back and coming from well off the pace. Expect similar tactics here and for him to be doing his best work late again. (7) QUEEN OF BEST enters off a win at this level over 1200M on November 11th. She also has the fastest time of any of these for the 1400M and while she is up in the weights, she can go close again. (4) COLITAS and (11) LUXURY KING among plenty of other placing chances.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(2) KOREA GOLD was a strong winner on debut over this distance in early November, coming from off the pace to strike. He then raced forward on his first try at this class when stepped up to 1400M and ultimately came home 4th. He drops back in trip here and has every chance from a good draw. It's a competitive race though. (4) DONGTEUJA WAY returned from three months out on November 11th to run a very good 3rd over class and distance. He should strip fitter for that effort and can be a big danger here, most likely from on the pace. (10) CHEONMAPYEONGJEONG led all the way to break though at start number two on November 18th. She comes up in class but down in weight and she can measure up in this company. (6) SPRING WATER and (9) MORNING BOLD among plenty of others who can at least challenge for the places.

Selections (2) Korea Gold (4) Dongteuja Way (10) Cheonmapyeongjeong (6) Spring Water

Seoul Race 7: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(3) SPEED ONE comes in off a creditable midfield finish in the Listed NACF Chairman's Trophy over this distance on November 5th. That was only his third career start, and she was a very good winner over 1000M back in September. He comes into a very nice gate here and should be on or close to the pace. He will take some beating. (1) MANDAERO came from off the pace to win on debut over 1000M on October 7th. He is up in class and in distance here, but a repeat can't be ruled out. (7) FIGHTING K returned to action almost an entire year after his debut to win over this distance on November 11th. He comes up in class today but can measure up in this company. (2) ARGO MUJEOK and (9) JANGHEUNG CLASS, the latter needing his latest overlooked, are others in the hunt.

Selections (3) Speed One (1) Mandaero (7) Fighting K (2) Argo Mujeok

Seoul Race 8: Class 5 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

After two runner-up finishes at class 6 level, (5) UMAPOY broke through in his first try at this level over 1400M on November 12th when he led all the way. He comes up 3.5kg in the weights today but Moon Se-young climbs on and he looks the type to thrive at the extended trip. He can win again. (1) GRAND SILVER shapes as the main danger. He got his maiden win at 1400M two starts back before running 2nd at this class and distance on November 11th when settling handy and running on. He comes up 2kg in the weights but should be there or thereabouts again. (3) SSANG OK RU and (10) BUL HWASAN come in having run 2nd and 3rd respectively when racing one another at this class and distance on November 18th. Both should be in the money frame again. (4) GREEN FEELSTAR another who can go close.

Selections (5) Umapoy (1) Grand Silver (3) Ssang Ok Ru (10) Bul Hwasan

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Tricky race. (2) SEONGSIL INDONG enters having won at class and distance on November 4th when leading all the way in what was one of the slowest ever run 1800M races at Seoul. That made it two wins from her latest three, but she remains under a light weight and has as good a chance as any here. (7) JEONGWOO FOREVER ran 4th over 1400M on his first try at this class on November 12th. He steps up to two turns for the first time and it may well suit. (5) CLUB D enters off a 3rd place over 1300M at this class on November 18th. He has placed at this distance too and under a light weight can be a danger here. (8) CHEON GUN and (1) JEONGSANG KINGDOM others who can challenge for the places.

Seoul Race 10: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(2) QUEEN TOP won back-to-back races in September and October to get rapidly promoted to this class before running a very close 2nd on her first try at class and distance on November 18th when settling midfield and running on, beating some of today's rivals in the process. She only comes up 1kg in the weights and from a good draw, she can go one better today. (3) NICE TAEYANG has made similar rapid progress up the grades by winning his latest two outings at 1200M and 1300M. He tackles 1400M for the first time but gets in under a featherweight and he can measure up in this company. (7) SUNGAN TOUCH was a class and distance winner on November 4th, coming from off the pace. He comes up a full 4kg in the weights this time, but he can be a danger again. (10) LUCKY BOUNCE and (8) MONSTER POWER others in the placing hunt.

Selections (2) Queen Top (3) Nice Taeyang (7) Sungan Touch (10) Lucky Bounce

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(6) RAON THE PONT is a winner of five from six on total with his only defeat coming in a 1200M trophy race on international da. On his latest he made all to win over 1400M at class 3 level on October 29th in a quick time. He comes up in class and in distance here and can continue on his merry way. (10) ARGO SMILE saw a winning streak of his own come to halt when up to this class and distance on November 12th, racing handy but ultimately running 2nd to Naol Sniper. He has won over the mile though and while the outside gate isn't ideal, he can be a danger here. (8) RANUT appears to have gone off the boil a bit of late but there is still talent there and he may appeal at an each-way price. (5) FLYING GOLD and (1) ACTIMON others to consider.

Selections (6) Raon The Point (10) Argo Smile (8) Ranut (5) Flying Gold
