Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(6) HEART K comes in off back-to-back 3rd places, most recently at this distance on December 2nd when settling handy and running on having overcome hate eleven. He gets a kinder draw this time and could well have too much. (7) HEUNGHAENG BULPAE ran 4th in that same December 2nd race, sitting midfield and finishing well. That was his second 4th place in just three starts to date and he can get closer here. (9) E.H. COCO comes in following a best to date runner-up finish over this distance on December 10th when leading for most of the way around. He has the challenge of the widest draw this time but can be competitive again. (1) ÉCLAIR STAR and (8) BEAT RACER others who can challenge for the minors.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(1) THE SUN FIGHTER will be a short-priced favourite here. He has been getting closer across his three starts to date and comes in off his best so far, a close 3rd over 1200M in a quick time on December 10th when coming from off the pace. He draws nicely here, the slight step up in trip can suit, and he should win. The logical danger is (4) FIRST CHOUX. He is yet to win but has seven top-five finishes and his latest was his best, when 2nd over this distance on December 17th having led for part of the way. He is nicely drawn and should go close again. There isn't much else in the way of exposed form but (11) THUNDER SPEED has hinted at having a bit of speed and if we go on his 4th place on debut instead of his poor effort last time, he can be considered. (7) CRAZE CHANG and (2) MR. POWER are the others who will get some support on a place line.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(2) RAINBOW ROAD has finished no worse than 4th in three starts to date most recently coming home 3rd when tried at this distance for the first time on December 17th. Her style is to race on pace and handy and with not much early speed to contend with here, she should get an easy run to the front and can go all the way. (7) FLYING DIA has mixed her form across seven outings but going on her latest when 3rd in a quick time over 1300M, she has a chance here. She'll be one of those up with Rainbow Road on the speed. (1) BLACK FALCON was an improved 2nd at start number three over 1300M on December 10th. The step up in trip can suit and he is very nicely drawn. (8) VALHALLA and (11) YEONGGWANGUIPRINCE others to keep safe.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(7) BEST WHIZ has a 5th and a 4th so far at 1200M and at 1300M, racing on pace both times. He looks nicely in here, Moon Se-young climbs on, and today could be the day. (6) SAENAE PARK was slowly away on debut over this distance on December 3rd but rallied well late on to get up for 2nd place, albeit a decent distance behind a good winner. He should have come on for the experience and if he can put himself in a better position a bit earlier, he could go one better. (10) SAHARAMOND has two 4th places and two 4th places from four total starts so far. He has been racing on pace, but he has coped well from a wide gate already and he should be in the mix here. (2) PINK MELODY won a trial and from a good gate can be considered first up. (3) FEDERAL PRESS another in the placing frame.

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(9) RAON VIBE MAN ran 4th on debut over 1200M in November before following up with a 2nd place, again at the six-furlong trip on December 10th, settling handy and running on. He can be peaking fitness-wise third up here and the slight step up in distance can see him home on top. (1) WONDERFUL ONE is yet to finish in the top two but has run some decent times including when 6th over this distance on December 3rd. He comes in under a light weight with an apprentice claiming and he can be in the mix here. (10) HI WINNER has finished 3rd to 5th in her three starts so far. She seems to like to be on pace so the draw is a little wider than ideal, but she shouldn't be too far away. (5) TAP BOLT and (8) CHRYSOL HERO look the best of a limited rest.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(3) PUNGUNJIMA was an emphatic winner over this distance at class 6 level on October 28th, leading every step of the way, a feat that got her a shot in a Listed race for juvenile fillies at the beginning of December. That didn't go well as having drawn in the car park, she finished last. She comes back into shallower waters – and a much better gate – here, and she should win. (8) ARCH CLASS comes in having run 3rd at class and distance on December 2nd, settling handy and running on. That continues a consistent start to her career, and she can be a threat here. (7) GEUMAK STAR was promoted to this class following two runner-up finishes and also ran fairly in a Listed juvenile race. She has mixed her form but, in this company, she should be close. (1) FOUR ACE and (6) YEOLJEONG ARGO others in the minor hunt.

Busan Race 3: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(9) BEOLMAUI MONSTER got his maiden win at class 5 level two starts back and then ran 4th in a good time over 1400M n his first try at this class on December 1st. He comes up 2kg in the weights but remains fairly in and he has proven to have a versatile running style. The step up to a mile can suit. (10) PEGACORN comes up in class having won well over 1400M on November 26th, leading all the way. He comes back up to a mile but remains under a light weight and can go close again. (8) BLACK VOLT came from well off the pace to run 3rd in a quick race at class and distance on December 15th. He remains nicely in and should be a danger again. (4) BRAVO HAMYANG and (1) GOLDEN STELLA among others in the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(1) GEUMSE enters having won at this class over 1200M on December 3rd when he made all. With an apprentice claiming, he comes up 1kg in the weights less than he would have otherwise and from a great draw, he can lead again and win again. (8) DOKKI DRAGON was 4th in that December 3rd race having settled back and then run on well. He got his win over 1200M in a quick time, and he shapes as the main danger here. Don't rule out (3) CHALLANHAN POKPUNG though. He enters following a win at class and distance on December 2nd when he came from well off the pace in the closing stages. That was his maiden win at start fourteen but while he carries his fair share of weight, he can be in this again. (7) PURPLE WINK and (2) NAOL DAEWANG others in the frame.

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(4) MAN OF THE KING is two for two with nine months separating his two outings to date. He led all the way in his latest at class 5 level over this distance on December 8th and while he comes up in class, he is down 2kg in the weights, he draws well, and he could well strip fitter for that run. He will need to beat the favourite though. That will be (3) MIRACLE ONE. She was a class and distance winner two starts back and has consistently run fast times for the 1200M. She likes to settle back and run on, and she is sure to be a big danger late on here. (8) JILJU YEOLJEONG is an import who began at this level on December 15th when she ran a strong 3rd in a quick race at class and distance. This is tougher but she should have benefitted from the experience and with some natural improvement, she'll be in this. (9) CATALINA MARINE did nothing in two starts last autumn but blitzed a December trial and could be a different prospect here. (2) SOUTHERN JOY another in the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(8) ORAEDAHAMKKE has raced just six times for one win and three further placings. He has never tackled further than 1300M before, but his running style suggests that the extended trip can suit, and he looks to be the one to beat here. (4) K N TIZWON is one of only four in the field to have raced at this distance already. He is still a maiden but has finished between 2nd and 4th on no fewer than ten occasions. He comes in off a very close 2nd at class and distance on December 9th when coming from off the pace and third-up this preparation he can be peaking fitness wise. (2) SATURDAY has a 2nd and a 3rd from his latest two, both at this class over 1400M. Like Oraedahamkke, he comes up to two turns for the first time and he carries his fair share of weight, but he can be dangerous. (10) THUNDER PRINCE and (7) HANGANG POWER others in the minor money frame.

Busan Race 5: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(4) PERFECT ACTION tackles this class and distance for the first time having come a surprisingly close 2nd to Baekduui Kkum in the Listed Gyeong Domin Ilbo Trophy for juvenile fillies at the beginning of last month, running on well. She is beautifully weighted and her running style suggests that she will be ideally suited to stretch out a bit further. (10) SUCCESSFUL returned from five months out to run a smart 3rd at this class over 1200M on December 10th settling midfield and running on pleasingly. He should have derived benefit from that run, the wide draw shouldn't be a problem, and the step up in trip can be in his favour. (2) FABULOUS BEATER is up in class after a win over 1300M on December 1st which had been coning after a strong of near-misses. He comes down in weight, draws well, and can measure up here. (9) DOCTOR RICH and (11) NAKDONG JEONSA others in the placing frame.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(5) GOMANARU will be a warm favourite here. He has only won the once, four starts back over 1700M at class 5, but he has raced well in three subsequent outings at this level, most recently beating a few of these on his way to 2nd place over this distance on December 3rd coming from off the pace. HE comes up 2.5kg in the weights but will be expected to go one better today. (2) P N S AI comes up in class having won around 1700M on December 9th leading all the way. This is tougher but he comes down in the weights, draws well and can potentially measure up. (6) TAEPYEONG HERO is similarly up in class, in his case having come from well off the pace to a-score at 1400M a month ago. He carries a feather weight here and his style seems perfectly suited to two turns. (3) SUPER ECTON and (8) MADISON MOUNTAIN the other logical place chances.

Busan Race 6: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

A very competitive finale on the south coast. (8) WORLD LEGEND ran 5th in the KRA Cup Mile last April before finishing well back in the Derby and then being given for months off. He returned to winning ways second-up over a mile on November 26th making all at this class and while he comes up a full 5kg in the weights, he looks to have potential for more. (4) EUNSEONG WINNER comes in having run 4th in 6th in two Graded races for fillies and mares to complete her 2023. It's been a while since her last win, but she is always competitive, and this looks a winnable assignment. (7) RAON THE POWER saw his form run a little cold last summer but has picked up recently and enters off a smart 3rd at class and distance on December 15th. He should be there or thereabouts again. (6) DOCTOR KINGDOM and (5) GREAT ONE are among others firmly in the hunt.

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(3) NICE TIME won his first three races in fine order, including a defeat of Lala K in the Listed Munwa Ilbo Trophy. He saw his unbeaten run come to an end at Busan in the Breeders' Cup champion juvenile race when he came from off the pace but could only make it up to 5th. Back at Seoul and back in more amenable company, he will be a short price to return to winning ways.  (9) VILLLARRICA is up in class following back-to-back runner-up finishes at this distance. He comes down 3kg in the weights and he has run times that will be competitive at this class. (8) DREAM PLAY comes in off a 3rd place in a quick time over 1300M coming from off the pace. It has been a long time since his sole (inauspicious) attempt at this distance, but he looks ready for another crack. (1) NAOL YEONGUNG and (2) CHALLENGE SOCKS the other placing chances.

Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(4) SINHAN TEUKSONG is a winner of three of her last four with the latest coming at this class and distance on December 3rd when leading all the way. She only comes up 1kg in the weights and she will be strongly favoured to win again. Clear second pick is (5) BULGOM MADRE. She has never finished worse than 4th in eight starts and comes up in class following victory over this distance on December 2nd when coming from off the pace. She is nicely weighted and drawn and there looks to be plenty more in the tank. (1) COMPLETE ANGEL enters off a useful 3rd over a mile last time out and from the inside gate, should be on pace and in this a long way. (7) GEUMBITMA and (6) M J BEST among others in the minor money hunt.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

Very competitive but we'll put (7) APEX at the top. She was rapidly promoted to this class with back-to-back wins in August and October and has established herself nicely with a 4th and a 2nd in two subsequent class 3 outings, both over this distance. She remains lightly weighted and she has every chance here. (5) S.I. COCO has never finished any worse than 5th and comes in off a 2nd and a 3rd at a mile and 1400M in his latest two, having led on both occasions. He carries his fair share of weight but the step back in trip can suit and he is a big danger. (4) UWARYUNG comes out of the Listed Gwacheon Mayor's Trophy where she had a hard time from a wide gate. She gets a much better draw today and should be in the frame. (11) GLOBAL POWER and (3) TOUGH MAN others to keep safe.

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(1) JANGSAN POISON ran 2nd over 1400M at this class on December 3rd, racing on pace throughout and only just missing out on the win. He only comes up 1kg, but he draws very nicely again and can go one better here. It's a competitive race though. (10) RAON FOREST was 2nd in last year's Korean Oaks and continued to run in tough company for the rest of her three-year-old season. She comes back to 1400M here, the wide draw won't matter, and under a very light weight, she can be in the mix. (3) CHAMJOEUN CHINGU was 3rd in that December 2nd race having been well-backed. She comes into a slightly better gate and can be given another chance. (7) WORLD CHARM, returning for the first time since last June, and (6) MONSTER K, are others to consider.
