Eleven starters have been declared for the Neom Turf Cup (G2) to be run over 2100m with the progressive Missed The Cut going up against the proven Mosthadaf. Godolphin is doubly represented by Dubai Future and the lightly raced six-year-old White Moonlight.

Byline – Has been domiciled in Bahrain for two years and recorded four wins from ten race starts, all over 1600m. Last start domestic Listed third over 2000m. More will be needed.

Castle – Beautifully bred gelding with two domestic starts this year and was previously based in France but disappointed throughout his career. Won course and distance at the end of January and could progress, but this is much harder.

Dubai Future – Royal Ascot Listed winner and placed to G2. Does hold a G3 Newbury (UK) third over 2200m and arrives following a Bahrain domestic G3 win in November followed by a Meydan G2 second over 1800m. Has claims.

Eagles's Flight – Course and distance winner two starts back in lesser company. Has been consistent since arriving at Riyadh but this is a big grade jump.

Flying Visit – Has been in Riyadh for twelve months and recorded two wins, both course and distance. Restricted race winner two starts ago in January but faces a steep class rise for this race.

Missed The Cut – The most progressive horse engaged. Lightly raced and has shown plenty of ability to date. Lingfield AW winner in November with the form proving to be very strong (second has since won two G2 races). Horse to beat.

Mostahdaf – G3 Kempton (AW) (UK) 2400m winner in September before finishing last in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp (FR) one month later. Has shown ability against proven G1 rivals and this distance will suit.

Peter The Great – Handy horse when based in the UK with only one start domestically when well held. Unlikely.

Sir Busker – G2 York (UK) winner over 2100m in August. Has been set for this race having one prep start on the AW in a Lingfield (UK) 1600m contest earlier this month but missed the break badly that day and has shown a tendency to start slowly as he has aged. Ryan Moore to ride. Good chance if getting away on terms.

Star of Wins – Last start course and distance winner in a restricted lead-up race winning by 2.5L. Harder but has place claims.

White Moonlight – Second past two at Meydan including G2 last start. Very lightly raced six-year-old with just seven starts. A good chance based on last race.
