A veterinary examination on Sunday, 11 July 2021 revealed that REIGNITE (K A'isisuhairi) had returned lame off (right) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

On Monday, 12 July 2021, Trainer Le Grange Ricardo advised that SAND BOX (CC Wong) had pulled up well and will continue with its preparation. He agreed with Jockey CC Wong's assessment, in that the gelding may not have handled the track conditions.

On Monday, 12 July 2021, Trainer J Peters advised that STREET PARTY (D Beasley) had pulled up well and will continue with its preparation. He attributed the performance to the gelding being caught wide throughout the race and carrying a high handicapped weight.
