RACE 1

1st Pick: GOLD KINGDOM (1) His best career stats have come over this course and distance. Will be hitting the line strongly and Oscar Chavez is booked to ride.
2nd Pick: ANGEL HALO (9) Nice win in this grade last start off a low rating of 25. Drawn wide and will have to do some work early to get a nice run.
3rd Pick: SUN PALACE (4) Drops back to Class 5 after running a creditable fifth over this course and gets our leading rider on board from barrier 3.
4th Pick: KING PIN (10) Nice run behind Angel Halo last start. Meets similar conditions and can run into the exotics off that previous run.

RACE 2

1st Pick: DIXIT DOMINUS (8) Showed last start that he was screaming for more ground. Should have progressed well from last-start performance and gains the services of Manoel Nunes.
2nd Pick: DECEPTION (7) Poorly drawn last time to the races and it was a major factor that led to his undoing. Draws well, another who should appreciate the step out in distance also.
3rd Pick: BINGO MASTER (2) Really impressive last start sticking on to run into a clear second. Shown that a maiden win for him is not far off.
4th Pick: BIG GREEN HAT (1) Rarely runs a bad race and should find itself in the finish once again. Poor draw is the only concern but must be kept safe for those playing the multiples.

RACE 3

1st Pick: LUCK OF MASTER (3) Caught the eye with third place to Cheval Blanc in identical race last start. Marble one of no significance as he gets back. Not much weight turnaround but he can still turn the tables on Cheval Blanc.
2nd Pick: CHEVAL BLANC (2) Found the seven furlongs too sharp last time out. This is more up his street. Nice barrier. Will be rattling home.
3rd Pick: GREAT EXPECTATION (6) Pretty consistent of late, and knocking on the door for his maiden win. Should be able to run out the 1800m on his ears. Big say.
4th Pick: WIND RHAPSODY (8) Course and distance winner. No weight on his back. Won't be long before he breaks through in Class 4 company.

RACE 4

1st Pick: WAWASAN (3) Did himself absolutely no favours making contact with the side of the gates at the jump, causing the jockey to lose an iron. Had excuses and should bounce back here. Even though his starts haven't helped him of late, look for him to be up front if he jumps on terms.
2nd Pick: ARION SUCCESS (1) Downgrader stepping back to suitable company. Draws very well to find a spot in behind the leaders. With the right ride, he could pinch this.
3rd Pick: SUPER POSH (9) Another 1000m specialist who you can't not consider to run a drum. Maps to settle just off a hot tempo here and could be chiming in at the finish.
4th Pick: STAR SHIELD (2) First time in Singapore over 1000m, best work has been over 1200m so the concern is this could be a little sharp for him. If they go silly up front, he can be in the numbers, just in case he can surprise here and put in a big performance.

RACE 5

1st Pick: BROADWAY SUCCESS (6) Comes into this race with a handy claim and suited to the distance. Drawn well in barrier No 2 and should show plenty of gate speed.
2nd Pick: LUCKY IMPERATOR (1) Manoel Nunes stays aboard after a nice second behind The Shadow last start. Rates the same from that start and drawn to go forward in barrier No 3.
3rd Pick: DRAGON RYKER (8) Blinkers looked to have done the job last start and gave him his maiden victory. He has also drawn amongst the speed runners and should get the run of the race.
4th Pick: WINNING HOBBY (2) Gets a 4kg advantage on some of the runners rated similar. Last two starts have been respectable and can run into the exotics.

RACE 6

1st Pick: MORTAL ENGINE (3) Nice win last start second-up. Manoel Nunes retains the ride and jumps from a very handy barrier one. Should make all the running and be hard to catch.
2nd Pick: ROMANTIC (1) Consistent galloper who has been racing well not missing a top 3 placing in his last five starts. Gets in well with a young claimer.
3rd Pick: COUSTEAU (2) His best stats have come over 1000m but should get a much better run than his last start where he was caught wide and still ran on.
4th Pick: LIM'S ZOOM (6) Finished a strong placing last start behind King Arthur. Possibly looking for something easier but holding his form.

RACE 7

1st Pick: HEALTHY STAR (1) Saddle slipped late in the race last start and he still managed to run into fifth placing. Happy to forgive, looks one of the horses to beat here in a race that lacks depth.
2nd Pick: VICTOREM (2) Ran home in 60 seconds dead on January 25 to put in a great trial performance ahead of this weekend's race. Four-kilo claimer engaged providing good weight relief.
3rd Pick: OUR SECRET WEAPON (3) 1000m is where he does his best work. Only a one-time winner at the distance, but has found himself in the placings quite a few times.
4th Pick: ONE WAY TICKET (5) Mixes performances but his best is good enough to figure here in the finish. Keep safe.

RACE 8

1st Pick: HERO (2) Unlucky at his last start. Overraced that day. Coming off a nice break and has trialled in superb order. Hard to beat.
2nd Pick: AMAZING BREEZE (1) Couldn't quite replicate his demolition job of two runs back, but had excuses with an awkward jump. Still in fine fettle and has drawn better this time. Can atone.
3rd Pick: THE WILD BUNCH (3) Stable is flying. Seldom disappoints these days. Include in calculations.
4th Pick: KNIGHT LOVE (7) Has lost his way, but was not beaten that far off at two starts for his new handler. Yet to score over 1400m, but trip is well within his compass.

RACE 9

1st Pick: OLYMPIA (2) Should go very close in this after some handy runs at his last couple. Drawn nicely in barrier No 2 and gets a chance to crack that maiden status in this race.
2nd Pick: LIM'S PRIDE (3) Ran one of the fastest final sectionals at his previous start and draws barrier one. With good speed should be finishing strongly.
3rd Pick: DIAMOND RING (4) Had to burn some petrol early last start and looks like he will have to do that again from a wide barrier. Should be up there and can be there at the business end.
4th Pick: MY BOSS (7) Drawn nicely in barrier No 3 and aided by a lightweight after the claim. Caught the eye running on last start and stakes each-way claims with some value.

RACE 10

1st Pick: KHARISMA (1) Best 1400m horse in the field. From barrier two, he should be able to get a handy spot once he settles into his stride. Horse to beat.
2nd Pick: LIM'S KOSCIUSZKO (9) Up-and-coming galloper who faces his stiffest test to-date. Didn't win by a big margin in Class 3 last start and though he has no weight on his back, he will be stretched here, especially from awkward alley, but on raw ability, he can still pinch a place.
3rd Pick: BIG HEARTED (5) Classy Singapore Gold Cup winner who lost a bit of his form at tailend of last campaign but is a horse who runs well fresh. Won't surprise if he rushes home late.
4th Pick: SO HI CLASS (8) Didn't do too badly first-up for his new handler. Will strip fitter for this. Not without place claims.

RACE 11

1st Pick: FIRST CHIEF (4) Gunning for a four-in-a-row and a first for new trainer Richard Lim. Can still find the front from barrier No 7 and two-kilo claim will come in handy. Go close.
2nd Pick: REIGNITE (1) Lost no admirers when tackling stronger cattle at last couple of starts. Drops back in Class 4 and should be competitive here. Drawn wide but if he can tuck in somewhere with cover, he'll still take a strong hand in this.
3rd Pick: ILLUSTRIOUS (2) Impressive winner last time out but this is a different proposition. Not without place claims.
4th Pick: SESON (7) Gutsy winner last start. On that run he should be thereabouts again, but might be stretched for the double dose.
