RACE 1

1st Pick: PERFECT (1) Should have finished closer if he was not held up for a run last start. On song and looks hard to beat despite the heavy mass.
2nd Pick: BOY NEXT DOOR (4) Flew home late over 1200m last start and will appreciate extra 200m over the Long Course. Nice low draw. Will be thereabouts when the whips are cracking.
3rd Pick: BLITZ POWER (9) Gunning for a three-in-a-row. In terrific order and no reason why she can't put in a
blow again.
4th Pick: WIND OF LIBERTY (3) Every chance at the 300m last time out when well tried but others accelerated better. Still winless in 21 starts, but should get her chance in this.

RACE 2

1st Pick: DANCING TYCOON (6) Caught the eye running home strongly at his last start and recorded good final sectionals. Should get the run of the race from a good barrier.
2nd Pick: ANARA (11) Did a few things wrong at his first start last season. Trialled in nice order leading up to this and gets the advantage of an inside barrier. From a leading yard, watch any betting.
3rd Pick: GOLD CUT (7) Winner was far too good last start and could be a handy horse. Not disappointed with that run and should be positive out the gates with Manoel Nunes aboard. Trainer and jockey combination very strong.
4th Pick: BLAZING KID (5) Jumped and led at his first career start when boxing on for a brave second. Drawn
wide but blinkers go on and must respect with experience.

RACE 3

1st Pick: SKY EYE (4) Beaten fair and square by a better horse last start. Has maintained his form and can go one better. May have to do some work to come across from wide alley, but he can still put in a good run.
2nd Pick: ATTILA (8) Ran fairly second-up at Novice level following winning debut. Well drawn. Not without claims even if the opposition is strong.
3rd Pick: HAPPY MOMENT (1) Winning momentum halted at last two starts, albeit he wasn't disgraced. Jumps from smart barrier and should be a major force to reckon with here.
4th Pick: YES ONE BALL (10) Might have done better if he didn't hurt his mouth at the gates. Still fought on bravely for second to Lim's Knight. On consistency, he merits consideration in first four.

RACE 4

1st Pick: MALIBU BEACH (3) Ran on strongly for second last time out. If he reproduces that run, he should be hard to beat.
2nd Pick: DON DE LA VEGA (1) Can mix his form but going on his last-start closing third and the Manoel Nunes factor, he will start at short odds here. Include in calculations.
3rd Pick: SUN ACE (4) Thrived on the turf last time out. Lovely barrier. Will probably box-seat and wait for home straight to pounce. Each-way chance.
4th Pick: KING'S SPEECH (5) Probably needs longer but if the speed is on and he gets an economical run in transit, he could be the late blowout in this.

RACE 5

1st Pick: HAPPY FRIDAY (3) Was well supported in betting last start but wasn't able to get the winner's purse. Oscar Chavez goes on and will be strong in the finish.
2nd Pick: DESPACITO (4) Comes into this first-up and will have that advantage over a few others in this. Finished last prep with strong placings and the Manoel Nunes factor will help.
3rd Pick: AMORE AMORE (1) Gets back to similar conditions where he was victorious two starts back. He only
carries half a kilo more than that day and looks a threat in this.
4th Pick: LEGGENDA (6) Drawn to get a lovely run in barrier three and has solid runs behind some handy types in this grade. Watch betting in final stages.

RACE 6

1st Pick: KING'S COMMAND (5) Three from four over the distance at Kranji and has been given to quiet trials to keep ticking over ahead of his first run of 2022.
2nd Pick: CIRCUIT MISSION (4) Last-start win deserves plenty of respect. More weight and arguably a slightly tougher field but second-up, he should improve even further.
3rd Pick: TRUMPY (3) Not much between him and Elite Incredible. Very similar performances last start. All going to come down to the gate and luck in running with those two.
4th Pick: ELITE INCREDIBLE (1) Downgrader who is obviously looking for more ground but last start was only a length
off Katak. Much more suited company here.

RACE 7

1st Pick: MILITARY CHAIRMAN (10) Consistent of late in this grade and gets a senior rider aboard. Has to overcome a wide barrier but plenty of room to find a position and can surprise in a low-depth field.
2nd Pick: FIREWORKS (2) Blinkers come off for this run after a fair run last start behind First Thief. Manoel Nunes jumps on for the ride and will be well supported.
3rd Pick: ATLANTEAN (7) Bounced back to form with a strong placing and goes up one kilo from that run. Meets similar conditions here and can surprise again.
4th Pick: HIDDEN PROMISE (3) Getting back to a journey where he performs better. Drawn nicely in barrier four and aided by apprentice claim. Probably the easiest field he has met for a while.

RACE 8

1st Pick: ROCKETSHIP (10) Mare who is not without ability. Seldom finishes far off and if things pan out her way, she can win this.
2nd Pick: DOC HUDSON (4) Kept at it along the rails at last start and was duly rewarded with a perfect rails run. Handy barrier. Doesn't win out of turn but it would not shock if he makes it back-to- back here.
3rd Pick: BIONICS (3) Never a threat last start. Raced wide and was a spent force at the top of the straight. Horror gate doesn't help his cause, but on ability, he can rally and still give the favourites something to worry about.
4th Pick: WAR WARRIOR (6) US-bred who has not really stood out on the training tracks, but the engagement of Manoel Nunes points to his chances. Keep safe.

RACE 9

1st Pick: GAMELY (2) Gets back to his suited distance of 1200m where his best performances have been. Leading apprentice takes the ride. Capable of winning here.
2nd Pick: FOUNTAIN OF FAME (4) Nice stats for a race of this depth. Beaten two lengths behind War Commander and not beaten more than five lengths at his last five starts.
3rd Pick: LIM'S HOPEFULLY (6) Drawn wide for the Danny Beasley & Daniel Meagher combination. Should find this easier than his last task and gets a chance to earn some prizemoney.
4th Pick: MY BOSS (7) Game run last start when running fifth in similar conditions. Should get in well after the claim and form figures show he will be competitive here.

RACE 10

1st Pick: SHEPHERD'S HYMN (2) Undefeated at track and distance and is third-up here for his first go back at the distance. Profiles as the winner here.
2nd Pick: BILLY ELLIOT (4) Last-start win deserves massive perks. Race has rated highly with The Wild Bunch who ran second going on to win as well. Yet to break through over the mile but this looks a good opportunity to step back up to the distance.
3rd Pick: KWAZII (5) Up to 1600m is a big plus for this maiden galloper. He will improve a lot from that debut run and he looks a main player here.
4th Pick: LIM'S BESTBREAKER (1) Last-start winner who loves getting right back in his races. Ran home late to just win. Respect the victory enough to throw in the numbers here as there should be a genuine tempo upfront.

RACE 11

1st Pick: LUCKY JINSHA (10) Last-start win and trial victory last week confirmed this horse is extremely progressive and is continuing to improve. In what looks a great Class 3 he has to be the pick.
2nd Pick: KING ARTHUR (7) Another up into Class 3 and who has been winning a lot of late. Will be the speed influence in the race and will be in the right part of the track making his own luck upfront. Toughest test to-date but with some luck, he should be in the finish.
3rd Pick: SACRED GIFT (8) Trialled in the fastest time we've seen for a while at Kranji going 58.81 for the 1000m. Rarely runs a bad one, therefore one has to consider him first-up as a place hope at least.
4th Pick: SONGGONG HERA (2) Looks one of the class horses in the field. Form behind Lim's Kosciuszko looking really strong, right in this with the right steer.

RACE 12

1st Pick: DANCING LIGHT (11) The fact Manoel Nunes will waste down to 52.5kg to ride this horse is enough to suggest this is the horse to beat. Trainer-jockey combo, 10 wins from the last 17 rides.
2nd Pick: EXDREAM (13) First emergency in the field but was the clear run of the race behind Seson and Stenmark. Gets his opportunity off a low weight if he can find himself in the field.
3rd Pick: STENMARK (1) Narrowly denied last start, respect as a danger despite the 4.5kg weight differential between him and Dancing Light.
4th Pick: WAR PRIDE (2) Beaten by less than a length at his last two starts. Knocking on the door and should be peaking in fitness here third-up.
