RACE 1

SUMMER WIND – Really nice run-in behind Fireworks who franked the form by winning again the following start. Could be his day this weekend in his second run back in class 5.

INTREPID – Was impressive in her second placing behind stablemate Perfect. She's a tough mare who isn't far away from a third career win.

NATE'S HONOUR – On speed winner who jumps to div 1 company this time around. Carries 1.5kg less than last start but meets a much tougher field.

WIND OF LIBERTY – Still a maiden but loves running a place. Fitness is no concern whatsoever and must be thrown in exotic bets.

RACE 2

BLAZING KID – Been narrowly beaten it's last two and the form around him looks strong in those defeats. The proven horse to beat here.

SHANG CHI – Very appealing trial in preparation for Singapore debut. Would have to be the star triallist in this field so far. Strong chance.

KRANJI JEWEL – Quiet trial Tuesday to keep ticking over ahead of the weekend. Has had plenty of trials to prepare for first start here, expecting a forward showing here.

PUSHTOLIMIT – Another yet to head to the races but has been catching the eye at the trials. In a sea of untested horses, one could certainly give him a hope going off what we have seen so far.

RACE 3

SHEPHERD'S HYMN – Was an ugly watch last start where he failed to gain a clear run at a vital stage of the race. Should have won that day and looks the one to beat here.

LAST SAMURAI – Placed in his two Singaporean appearances and switches to the Poly surface. Should be positive out of the gates and give them something to catch with a free rolling style of racing.

KING LOUIS – Narrowly beaten last start when racing at a similar mark to his last win. Has a very good course and distance record and looks a positive chance.

LIMITED EDITION – Comes into this on the top of the weight scale. Was a winner two starts back and gets Chavez who strikes well when riding for the stable. Can improve.

RACE 4

DON DE LA VEGA – Last two runs beaten 1.5 and 0.8 lengths carrying 59kg. Two starts ago he struggled to lift off a slow tempo and last start was beaten by a horse who is flying at the moment in Born To Win. Clear one to beat.

ATLAS – Did a few things wrong in its first run back in class 5. Bumped early and laid in late in the race. Looks a major player here.

SUN PALACE – Has placed two from four track and distance and struggling to get a crack at them last start. With a bit more luck in running, he could be in the finish.

STARFORTUNE – One could argue he's had his opportunities to win but I think he still has some ability and could threaten if he can put it all together on race day.

RACE 5

DANCING TYCOON – Took out his Open Maiden in nice style and this looks a nice steppingstone to his next win. Looks a progressive type who can go on with it.

TE AKAU BEN – Was the eye catcher last start who got back and raced greenly in some stages of the race. Flew home to clock a strong final sectional time of 22.08 and looks to have ability.

BLUE IDOL – Won his last start at blowout odds but seemed to do it in nice style. Taken some time to come to the fore but the trainer looks to have him figured out.

DANCING LIGHT – Nunes stays aboard after winning at his first start on the Poly. Failed to fire at his previous outing but runs into a small field and can't rule out.

RACE 6

SMOKE AND MIRRORS – Returning first up from a bleed with a nice preparation trial under the belt this year. Must lug the 59kg but looks one of the class horses here in the field.

EUNOS AVE THREE – Second up quiet with a trial in between starts. Seems to be well going off the first run, a similar performance would put him right in this.

ATLANTEAN – Mixes performances and rarely puts two good runs together. Ran second last start so slightly concerned that a bad run is inbound, but he must be thrown in the numbers just in case.

BIG DAY – Gets right back in the field so will need some early speed in the race. If there is a hot tempo though, look for him to be running down the outside late in the race.

RACE 7

NATE'S CHAMPION – Got caught wide without cover last start and threw two plates in the race. Last start for multiple reasons was a total forgive so with some more luck, he is worth considering here.

WEDNESDAY – Gets in here on the minimum and has been running so consistent for a horse at its mark. Due to win one soon and at the weights, this weekend could be the one.

GALAXY STAR – 2nd last start in a race that didn't go to suit beaten just under a length. Good chance to run in the money once again here.

CROWN GIFT – He will appreciate the drop down to class 5 here for the first time in his career. Beaten 6.4 lengths up a grade last start so he must respect in inferior company this time around.

RACE 8

TANGIBLE – Comes into this off two strong minor placings. Steps up to the 2000m for the first time and from a strong stable holds a good hand in this event.

SO HI CLASS – He was only beaten four lengths in last years Singapore Gold Cup at Group 1 level. That should be good grounding for this race and rates well off previous form.

TRUMPY – Although he only has one win to his name here. He holds nice form to be in the finish for a race like this. Should settle midfield and look a threat when they turn for home.

ELITE INCREDIBLE – Comes into a small field this week and doesn't win all that often. Off his best form he should be earning some prizemoney and run in the multiples.

RACE 9

GOLDEN TEAK – Coming in first up off nice trial performance. Going off trial, this is a horse who could have found a few lengths over the break. Willing to entertain here.

CENTURION – Third up with a tick over trial in between runs that was really nice to the eye. Could be ready to fire here this weekend.

DIAMOND MINE – Hasn't been far off the last few, has the fitness edge on a few of these in the race. Keeping safe.

PISCA PISCA – A mare who hasn't found her best form for a while but always needs to be considered as she is the horse in this field that could turn up and surprise.

RACE 10

KHARISMA – Classy galloper who has had a stellar twelve months moving up the ratings. A ten-time winner and one of our highest rated gallopers. Trialed strongly since his previous win.

ROCKET STAR – Ran third in the Kranji Mile last year and placed at Group level over this distance. From a strong stable who is going well and at his best he must be respected in this. Needs luck from a wide draw.

GOLD STAR – Caught the eye running home strongly behind the unbeaten Lim's Kosciuszko and gets in here with a light weight. If the tempo is strong watch these colours flying home.

GRAND KOONTA – Proven sprinter in his prime here before. His last start placing behind Kharisma was his best run for some time and can figure in the exotics.

RACE 11

BILLY ELLIOT – Lightly raced gelding with plenty of ability. He holds a great record of three starts for two wins over this course and distance. Watch the betting for any support.

BOOMBA – Has won over the course and distance in the past and looked a strong run last when finishing 4th. At his best he can be winning this for one of our leading trainers.

HARRY DREAM – Has a strong turn of foot at the end of her races and a runner up to Sabah Star last start who brings good form to other races. Needs a strong tempo to finish.

QUADCOPTER – Drops right back in the ratings to be back in class 4 where he was a winner in August of 2020. Strong record over the distance but can cost himself at the start. Big watch.

RACE 12

BIG TIGER – Eye catching win last start when slow to begin and had to race wide. He beat a handy galloper in Illustrious who set a hot speed that day. Can make it back-to-back wins.

RENZO – Big claims in this race to score another career win. Proven record over the course and distance only finishing outside of the top 3 once in 5 starts. Can figure here.

EAGLE EYE – Racing first up since November of last year where he scored back-to-back wins over a further distance. Does have nice runs to his name on this surface and trialed strong in preparation for this.

SIAM ROYAL ORCHID – Looking to regain some previous strong form. He is a four-time winner and all of those victories have come at this course and distance. Watch betting.
