RACE 1

HYDE PARK – Gets back to Class 5 where he was a winner back in October of last year in similar conditions. Looks to be primed for another win here.

TESORO PIRATA – Broke through for his first win when having the run of the race and kicking clear last start. Meets a standard opposition and can make it back-to-back victories.

ARION PASSION – A much improved run when running in this grade where he has been successful in the past. Didn't have much luck and still caught the eye. Watch any market moves.

WAWASAN – His best races have come over this course and distance. With some luck in running, he could turn the table on some of his fancied rivals.

RACE 2

DECEPTION – Yet to miss a place in each of his career starts to date. Not far away from some handy winners and this looks his race to kick that maiden status.

BINGO MASTER – Was a strong runner up on a few occasions and steps up to the mile for the first time. Small field and at his best can be a multiples pick.

SUNSET – Has run third over the 1400m so you would assume the mile wouldn't be out of reach. Nothing went right last start and willing to give another chance.

DABBLE – Has the race experience to his name. Can show speed from the barriers but failed to show over shorter distances. Maybe the extra distance will suit.

RACE 3

DR KARDO – Last start winner who got the job done despite getting no favors during the race. Although the margin was small, it was a big run nevertheless. Big chance again here.

LIM'S KNIGHT – Last start once again showed us that another class 4 win isn't out of the question, keep him safe.

WIN WIN – Returning off a long break so we only have trials to go off when it comes to getting a guide on him. Most recent trial was sharp, winning in 59.31. Happy to respect.

MR PACINO – Singapore debut this weekend with a couple nice trials in preparation. This start will give us a good guide on where he is at.

RACE 4

BEAT THE LIGHT – Looking to make it three wins in succession here. Although drawn wide with a smooth run-in transit he can keep that form going for Lerner.

SUN ELIZABETH – This mare really bounced back to form last start with a return to form. She has very strong stats over this course and distance, and you cannot dismiss her.

GAMELY – Much improved run last start where Bayliss got plenty out of him. The stable apprentice replaces him and at his best you would think he can feature in the exotics.

BEER GARDEN – Caught the eye when running third at his most recent start. Been a while since we have seen him salute but recent runs show he is close.

RACE 5

BORN TO WIN – Steps up to class 4 at what can only be labelled as the right time. Fresh off an arrogant class 5 win and gets in here with 50kg. This is the right time to strike class 4.

GREAT EXPECTATION – Stringing up second after second in the form guide. Not far away from winning one so he cannot be left out of the numbers.

WIND TRAIL – Has to lug a big weight and has been known to be quite fractious in the gates at times, but he is a quality horse at class 4 grade if he can put it all together. Could run in the money.

AMAZING BREEZE – We know what this horse is capable of, unfortunately he hasn't found anything near that in 2022. Hoping to see him turn the corner.

RACE 6

VOLUNTAD – Comes into one of the easier races he has faced for a while. Drawn wide and should show speed with promising runs at his past few appearances. Goes close here.

ALEXANDER – Returns first up this campaign. Looked nice and fit at a recent trial and is a galloper who is still trying to break that maiden status.

BURGUNDY LAD – Two strong placings at his most recent outings. Comes into this with a lightweight and if he runs up to those this race is well within his reach.

THE WILD PRINCE – He can miss the jump on occasions but when he doesn't, he has shown ability in the past. Gets a perfect barrier in two to bounce out and look a threat.

RACE 7

HUGO – Drops down a class after being beaten 6.5 lengths in a strong race last start. Trial on March 15th in between runs was eye catching. Second up here against much more suitable company.

KISS YOUR SONG – Last start was first run this preparation we saw a glimmer of what this horse can do. Should settle off the pace and be chiming in late.

BASILISK – Despite having not won recently, he has only been few lengths off some nice horses who have since gone to class 3.

LONHRO GOLD – Hasn't delivered race day in quite a while but the two trials from this horse over the last couple weeks suggest he is very well, and it wouldn't shock me to see a good run from him in this first run of 2022.

RACE 8

SIR ELTON – Racing very consistent at his last couple of starts. This is his right grade to get that much awaited next victory and should be getting the run of the race from barrier five.

POROSHIRI – He is a very difficult horse to follow due to his antics but if he finds the front from a positive barrier, he could just give them something to chase.

KSATRIA – Comes into this at the top of the weight scale courtesy of a win two starts ago. Gets two kilograms off after Iskandar's claim and must not be ruled out of the top fancies.

HOSAYLIAO – Hasn't been at his best since winning back in November. If he can bounce back to form which we know he has. He may just surprise at very good odds and suited to this distance.

RACE 9

LIM'S KOSCIUSZKO – Undefeated and continues to keep raising the bar. You cannot jump off him now, may the streak continue.

HEARTENING FLYER – Was a little wayward in the straight last start in behind Katak beaten 3 lengths. Consistently runs well race day so on consistency alone, it deserves a spot as a horse that could threaten the favorite.

TOP KNIGHT – Getting fitter each start this preparation as it gets out over more ground. If they speed is good in the race, be looking for him late.

SAVVY COMMAND – Beaten 1.6 lengths first up over a mile. Should improve off that run and be a place chance in this field. Must respect.

RACE 10

KING'S COMMAND – Closing sectionals were enormous last start to on go down a length. If we see improvement off that run, he will take a power of beating this weekend.

SURE WILL DO – First up run was super solid and the rise to 1400m could be a positive despite the lack of form over 1200m plus.

REAL EFECTO – Dropping back to 1400m coming off a solid placing over the mile going down by less than a length. Has had two tick over trials since, happy to respect.

SABAH STAR – Coming up in grade but has had some strong class 4 wins of late and has a low weight and winning form on his side. Could surprise.

RACE 11

RELENTLESS – Last time we saw this horse, he was a group 2 placegetter in the 2021 3YO Sprint. Seems to be ticking along well and although he won't be fully screwed down here first up, his ability could still see him in the finish.

LIM'S SPIN – Last start winner who impressed second up as a horse who had been off the scene a while with injury. You could assume he is only going to improve off that run third up so although this looks a tougher race, he could be in the mix.

PATTAYA – Wide without cover first run back in class 4 and never really got its chance from the wide gate. Requires a little more luck this time around but showed us last star that he's not far off winning in class 4.

STREET CRY SUCCESS – Superb run first up going down by less than a length. Mixes performances but on previous run, he cannot be left out of the exotics.
