RACE 1

FLAK JACKET – One of our veteran gallopers here in Singapore who has come to the fore since dropping to Class 5. Yet to win at this distance but strong placing stats to show he won't be far away.

QAIDOOM – Consistent mare who has been finding it hard to win in tougher fields recently. Should be handy in the run and be just behind the leading pair. Lightly raced and holds strong claims.

ALWAYS INNOCENT – Yet to win at this distance and probably better suited to 1000m. He has trialed well between this and his last start and must be considered for any exotics.

FAST AND FEARLESS – Comes into this for James Peters who has had a solid season with small numbers in work. If he runs up to his last start when only beaten a length he could measure up.

RACE 2

ENGINE START – Has had a couple of runs under his belt and has been catching the eye at his most recent two when coming from well back. Can run quick sectionals and gets his chance for win number one here.

KRANJI JEWEL – Drops back in distance after finishing two lengths behind Mighty Vain. Came from well back in the field and if the speed is on early, he can finish off strongly. Leading stable trains and looks a danger.

COMMODORE – Just two career starts to date but you have to go back to 2020 to see them. Has obviously had issues since then and three trials this year should have him fit. Watch the market for any support.

RAHOTU – Highly strung galloper who can work himself up at times. He jumped and led last start over a longer trip and if he can go a bit easier in this he can improve. Has shown ability in his trials.

RACE 3

CHIVALRIC KNIGHT – Comes out of a race last start that you could forgive due to the severe rain however, the race has held up with Axel going on to win well the following start. Amongst division two company, he looks a big chance here.

REAL SUCCESS – First run in the grade since July 2019 and should appreciate the drop down to this class. Big place chance.

EAGLE EYE – Has been around the mark his last few starts and showing that a win might be too far away. He does require a fast rolling tempo in order to run on. If he gets this from horses like Ricvelo, look for him down the outside late.

RICVELO – Looks the leader in the race, should be the one they are chasing at the corner before the long run home.

RACE 4

FIGHT TO VICTORY – He was very honest when running second last start behind Galaxy Star in similar conditions. He finds himself in the easier division and must be considered a threat.

AUSPICIOUS DAY – One of our lower rated gallopers who has been steadily improving in recent runs collecting two minor placings. Drops back in distance from his preferred trip but can figure in this field.

BURGUNDY LAD – Still a maiden after nineteen starts up here. His best career runs have come over this course and distance with two minor placings. If he brings his best in this lineup he could surprise.

WEDNESDAY – A runner from the in-form Logan stable who joins a few in this lineup still yet to register a career win. He hasn't been far from the winners in recent runs but if he can find a length or two, he just might figure.

RACE 5

WIND TRAIL – Narrowly defeated by stablemate last start. Drop back to 1800m which is its pet distance having only missed the top four twice in fourteen tries (14: 2-3-2-5). Should take a power of beating.

SHEPHERD'S HYMN – Last couple runs have been very frustrating, in particular last start which for once he had all the luck in the world to win. The switch to turf and the long course should improve him and as a result he looks the logical danger to Wind Trail.

GREAT EXPECTATION – Comes out of the same race as Wind Trail and was held up multiple times in the straight. Happy to forgive and respect as a place hope.

GOLD CITY – Three starts track and distance for a win and two seconds. Despite being a little out of form, her last run was promising and she heads to her favorite trip fit and fifth up.

RACE 6

DIAMOND RING – Managed to grab his second career victory at his last start over this same track and distance. Should have a similar run and just needs to handle the rise in weight to go back-to-back here.

SAMURAI EXPRESS – Finished third to Diamond Ring who looks a leading player in this lineup. Although he is yet to win at this distance, he finds himself in a very weak race so must be a top contender.

BRIGHT SUN – This mare has been racing for some time now and doesn't have a great career record to show for that. She has shown glimpses of ability in the past and if she is able to bring that here she can run well.

DECRETO – Just edged out in a photo finish three runs ago. His last two runs have been disappointing but finds himself in a much lower rated race. Top four claims.

RACE 7

TANGIBLE – Closed off late to be narrowly beaten despite mid-race interference. Can atone here and looks the one to beat.

RELENTLESS – Impressed in his class four win on Kranji Mile day doing it quite easily in the end. Steps up here in grade but should be competitive if he can mimic his last start performance.

CIRCUIT MISSION – Back to class three looks suitable for this son of High Chaparral. Put line through Kranji Mile run, drop significantly in grade and only carries one more kilogram.

SO HI CLASS – Hasn't been far away his last couple, one to include in the multiples. Last three starts at the grade he has run in the top four, keep very safe.

RACE 8

GALAXY STAR – Got back into the winners stall last start after a lengthy time between wins. Stays in the same grade and suited to the track and distance. Can win again.

BUURAQ – Was well supported last start in this grade but was only able to finish third. Stable has had some time now to work with him and an improved run could be on the menu.

ROYALTY – His runs of late have been quite disappointing to what we have seen in the last twelve months. He has won off a rating of 46 and now sits four points lower than that. If he finds the front could surprise.

EASTIGER – Two minor placings from his last two starts and one of those was behind Galaxy Star who lines up in this event. Aided by a lightweight and with a nice run could add some value to the finish.

RACE 9

BUDDY BUDDY – He has really relished the drop in grade at this stage of his career. Just missed out in a tight photo when carrying topweight last start and has since shifted to the Stephen Gray stable.

SPLIT SECOND – Racing well at his last few starts. He needs everything to go right with speed and must jump better than he did last start. If it rains it will only help his chances.

FORTUNE STAR – Comes into this off back-to-back second placings on the polytrack surface. His record isn't strong but finds himself in a race where he can acquire some prizemoney.

FOOTSTEPSONTHECAR – Caught the eye running into second place at her most recent outing behind Tigarous. Has since trialed and should be hitting the line strongly with a lightweight. Stable in form.

RACE 10

DANCING TYCOON – Has barely put a foot wrong at the races to date. This class four race looks the next logical step for him in his Singapore journey.

PALETAS – Downgrades here back to class four for the first time since March 2021. Looks to be a clear contender at this class and has trialed well between runs.

LUCKY IMPERATOR – Beaten just under a length by Amazing Breeze and looks to be racing in some seriously consistent form at this grade. Respect.

VGOR – Put a line through his last start. Runner was steadied multiple times through the race, and this ultimately cost it the race. Same track and distance once again, must include.

RACE 11

TIGER ROAR – Trials have been nice leading up to first up return this weekend. This looks a nice starting point and should command plenty of respect in the market.

HADEER – Solid 1200m turf record across both tracks having won four times. Coming off a solid trial between runs in preparation for first start in over a month.

MOOGATE STAR – Despite being diagnosed with heat stress post-race last start, this son of Atlante ran well into fourth, beaten 2.3 lengths by Lucky Jinsha.

PATTAYA – Last start placing behind Sabah Star looks a strong enough form line to be competitive here with the right run, a must include in the numbers.

RACE 12

GOLD TEN SIXTY-ONE – Commanding winner over the same track and distance last start. Lead from gate to wire and I doubt the plan will change at all for this weekend. Looks the clear leader in the race.

MONTANA FLASH – Stepping out for Singapore debut. Half-brother to Lim's Craft so has the right blood to succeed here in this jurisdiction. This upcoming run will give us a good guide on where he is at.

DECEPTION – Drops back to the 1100m and onto the poly which I don't think is a plus. However, he was a dominant winner last start and could figure in the placings.

KISS YOUR SONG – Quick back up for this for this four-time track and distance winner who is on the quick back up. Inside gate once again should assist its chances, keep safe.
