Top weight(60kgs) in the Grade 2 Peninsula Handicap(1800m) at Kenilworth on Wednesday is the Stephen Page trained Cask.

Cask finished a close second to Chesalon in his last outing, the Grade 2 Premier Trophy over the course and distance. He has a good record over this distance and should be right there at the finish. Alec Forbes retains the ride.

Four-year-old Run For It from the Justin Snaith yard was third behind Chesalon in the Premier Trophy and was flying from way back at the finish. He is ready for a win and with Bernard Fayd'Herbe in the saddle, he may well be the one they all have to beat.

Mike Bass saddles two runners Super Storm and Brown Penny. Super Storm has been making steady progress since his seasonal debut and with Karl Neisius in the saddle, the Rakeen gelding is likely to be there at the finish.

Lightly weighted Brown Penny(54kgs) has the services of Felix Coetzee. It is the Fort Wood gelding's second run after a layoff and he seems to be coming to hand nicely.

With a five kilogram advantage over Run For It, expect him to be involved in the finish.

Polar Bound from the Brett Crawford stable has won his last two outings and is looking for hat trick here. He handles the distance easily and has been progressing nicely since his seasonal debut.

Karis Teetan has the ride and if the Western Winter gelding handles the step up in class, he could be fighting out the finish with Run For It.

Dark horse of the race is the Shamardal gelding, League of Honour (AUS). He is a course and distance specialist and has the services of top apprentice, Grant van Niekerk.

He is however stepping up in company here, but is an ultra consistent performer and could fill the minor places.
