Popular sprinter Highfield Princess heads 22 entries in the Prix de l’Abbaye at Longchamp on Sunday following Wednesday’s forfeit stage.
John Quinn's star mare had excuses having been slowly away when fifth in the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh last time and will be looking to bounce back in her bid for a fourth Group 1 success.
Her Curragh conqueror Moss Tucker also features among the 22-strong field at the current stage while fellow Irish raider Go Athletico, who scored in the Renaissance Stakes last time, will be looking to reverse Curragh form with Moss Tucker having finished second in the Rathasker Stud Phoenix Sprint Stakes in August.
Last year's runner-up White Lavender remains on course, while the likes of Flying Five second Get Ahead, Art Power and Karl Burke's Dramatised could also line up for Britain.
Connections of Vadream will be hoping for plenty of rain around in Paris this weekend with trainer Charlie Fellowes keen to stress she needs soft ground to be seen to best effect.
Fellowes said: "If it's very soft ground and she gets a good draw then she's a massive chance because she's as good as any sprinter on that ground.
"If it's good ground or quicker, then she probably doesn't have much of a chance, but she needs to go and have a run as the plan has always been the Abbaye and then Champions Day."
Elsewhere on the card, 16 remain in the Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, with Aidan O'Brien leaving Unquestionable, Henry Adams, Henry Longfellow and Johannes Brahms all in.
The William Haggas-trained Gimcrack winner Lake Forest all remain in the mix with Champagne Stakes third Rosallion and Golden Mind, who was fourth in the Vintage Stakes on soft ground at Glorious Goodwood, both featuring amongst the entries.
It's very much a different story in the Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac-Criterium Des Pouliches, with O'Brien holding just one of the ten entries. The Ballydoyle trainer will rely on Group 3 winner Opera Singer, while Karl Burke's May Hill scorer Darnation also remains in contention alongside Brain Meehan's Extraordinaire.
There are thirteen current entries for the Prix de l'Opera and connections of Blue Rose Cen will be hoping she can get back to winning ways after finishing second in the Prix Vermeille last time. Her Glorious Goodwood conqueror Al Husn also remains on course for what looks like a stellar clash of the fillies' whilst Tom Clover's Rogue Millennium could also make the trip to Paris this Sunday.
The other Group 1 contest on Sunday's high-class card will see Frankie Dettori and Kinross bid to make it back-to-back Qatar Prix de la Foret's at Longchamp. The Italian maestro has made it no secret this horse has been his favourite this season and the pair will surely have high expectations of completing a memorable Longchamp double following their impressive success in the Sky Bet City Of York Stakes last start.
As stated by trainer George Boughey earlier in the week, his 2022 1000 Guineas heroine Cachet also featured among the thirteen entries for the sole seven-furlong Group 1 contest in Europe.
